Hi! If youve stumbled onto my Web Page, then something about the way I transfer my life onto the web has drawn you in. Is it my obvious love of hockey? How about my fanaticism for the crazy Tom Green? Or could it be me, myself, or I? Hopefully, if you answered the latter, Ill be able to answer some of your questions.
Im a freshman at Hofstra University currently majoring in broadcast journalism but switching at some point to english/secondary ed. I went to a medium-sized high school in Farmington, CT. I liked the school and most of the people, but I live in a town where a lot of the people are moderately wealthy, and so they are able to dictate trends in stuff like fashion and especially attitude. If they shop at Abercrombie and Fitch, there's always the crowd that will follow them. I strive to not be like that. If I see a shirt that I like there (that's under 40 bucks), I will buy it, but I do not go into a store...or visit a restaurant...or drive a car for a name. In fact, if something's trendy, chances are Im not into it.
College is another story. Or rather, a lot of the same story with some subtle differences. Those being my parents arent around and there are many, many bars within walking distance. I live in Estabrook Hall, aka da'brook. As much as I hate to admit it, Hofstra's good times on occasion, ESPECIALLY on Fridays from 4-??? at McHebes Big 80's Drunk Fuck Happy Hour (yes i believe that is the full name of it). You HAVE to come down sometime and go there.
In terms of appearance, I'm about 6-2 with brown eyes, dark brown hair and long sideburns. I'm not pencil thin by any measure of the word, but I don't have a gut either. I weigh 200ish.
Lets see...my life? To tell the truth, my life consists of about 4 things...hockey, school, internet, jenn :), and going out once in a while(which doesnt count). Yes, it tends to get boring sometimes, and yes, I am a good student (National Honor Society in high school and Honors College, baby), but I wouldnt classify myself as a nerd because Im too lazy for that. I rarely study (if you're one of my professors-hey you never know-, bear in mind that I do study for your class) and I do my homework even less, but I get by through the art of B.S.-ing. I also used to write for the high school paper, sports columnist (*retired*) and section editor, and some samples of my work are up on this site.
Yup, thats about it. Oh, and I work at the ice skating rink when i
m home on breaks, and i have a summer position as a camp director in my town, but you probably dont care. So, enjoy yourselves at my page, and Im sure Ill see you in the real world some day.
Peace out.
