  Jesus said, When ye pray say, Our Father

Father, thank you that we can come to you calling you Father

Make me like you Lord.

 John 1

12  But as many as received him, to them gave he the right to become children of God, even to them that believe on his name:  13  who were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God.

1 John 3

1 Behold what manner of love the Father hath bestowed upon us, that we should be called children of God; and such we are. For this cause the world knoweth us not, because it knew him not. 2 Beloved, now are we children of God, and it is not yet made manifest what we shall be. We know that, if he shall be manifested, we shall be like him; for we shall see him even as he is.

13  And whatsoever ye shall ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. 14  If ye shall ask anything in my name, that will I do. 15  If ye love me, ye will keep my commandments.
