The adventurers join with Whisper and Karranna, and the band of adventurers travel deep within Hellgate Keep, battling off  large groups of Tannar'ri as they close several permanent gates to the lower planes that had already been opened by use of the Tome of Gates. Eventually the band is tricked into following a women in need of aid ( a fellow adventure/actually Lady Aliizza and bearer of the Tome of Gates, an Alu-fiend Mage) and Karranna is captured by an enchanted rope Aliizza carried and they teleport away. Through Whispers location magic they track Karranna deep into a large chamber where a small army of Tannar'r lair, fully equipped with a Balor as well as Aliizza and her Lord, Vhanick with his crimson scepter. A full scale battle breaks out, through use of a primsmatic spray a mass of the weaker Tannar'ris are slain.  Lorthois uses a telekenesis spell  to throw  the large body of an Alu-fiend that had been turned to stone up on top of the Lord with the crimson rod! Thhis basically crushed the life from him and once Aliizza freed  him the blast from some spell sent the Lord flying off the pedastle of his Bone Throne onto the floor below and at the feet of Karranna and Throg whom quickly slay him. Through use of brute strength and manay spells the gate within this chamber is destroyed but not before the Balor escaped into  it (after Whisper cast  a dagger swarm upon him).
    Whisper used the magic of the unicorn amulents given by Alustriel and all teleported to outside of Silverymoon (with the Tome of gates in hand)! Once their all were shown to the Palace and given private rooms wwhere they all quickly fell to slumber. They were awakedn hours later to be brought before a coouncil of several senior harpers: Alustriel, Storm Silverhand, Alexius Dragonmaw, Khelben, Elminster and Laeral. As well as Whisper DragonMaw. The adventurers were told of a  far off land known as Eltabriel, a island unknown to almost all of the peoples of Toril, a place shrouded in mists that hid it from view and detection, but a island with cities and differenct climates full of people and life. A place  that was years and years ago full of strife and war as a creature known as Lord Drakhon took control of it and oppressed its life. It allowed evil to touch the once pure island and he shaped the island how he desired. Then he vanished to his dwellings deep in the Barren Lands leaving the living to live in fear of his return to oppressive control. Though decades pass and no hand of Drakhon has touched the island since. Though due to recent affairs that Whisper DragonMaw has noticed they believe that Lord Drakhon is no longer  dormant and is attempting to put out his control over the rest of Toril. The Senior Harpers wish to send out a scouting party to Eltabriel that will be wlling to  travel to the Oracle of the Tower of Souls, and ask him about Lord Drakhons activity in the Realms.
