Eltabriel, island of beauty.
This band is teleported to Eltabriel
outside of Magus Keep where they meet Valaria Daleal (whispers daughter).
They travel within Magus Keep to do a bit of shopping , to replenish spell
components and perhaps acquire some magical items to aid them in
there journeys.Here Imoteph purchases a little goblin and a scarf of disguise
(to make the goblin exactly resemble himself), the goblin becomes to be
known as MOJO. From Magus Keep the journey across the Hornian Range
of mountains is for the most part uneventful (besides being attacked by
small scout party of drow elves at night) and they make it to the Tower
of Souls and ask the Oracle and he says unto them: Lord Drakhon has never
been dormant, he is alive and well, his power rests throughout the
Realms.
Valaria communes with Whisper
and Elminster, they tell her to seek Varmillions aid within the Ruins in
Shadey woods. So from The Tower of Souls, Valria teleports the band to
outside of Shadey woods, they travel into the woods and are attacked by
a magical trap consisting of multiple magic missile attacks, and are besieged
by undead but Imoteph uses his undead controlling powers to control them....although
Karranna uses her paladin powers to destroy them, much to Imotephs anger!
We make it into the ruins and rest within a circle of stone slabs,
that had inscribed on them; "rest within the circle". NExt thing we knew
were were being sucked into the earth and found ourselves awaking
in a dark hallway, dealing with a pissy apprentice taking inventory,
and we find Varmillion is away in council with "important" archmages! So
we follow the apprentince around, and soon after she yells at us many times,
Varmilliion appears and we follow him into a extra-dimensional
safehold that is a most elaboratly furnished dwelling! He knows
why we are there and tells us he will not physically aid us, but he does
give us magical items to aid us in our battles against Drakhons forces.
Though in a moment in heated conversation VAlaria yelled in outrage
at VArmillion, and though he took it well and kindly, odds are the next
event would not of happened the way it did had she not offened the archamge....
Varmillion asked the band if they would quickly take care of a small matter
of an undead problem that had occureed up in his woods surrounding the
ruins since Drakhon has made himself somewhat known in the Realms. They
agreed and ended up facing a death knight with his small weak band
of skeletons and zombies. Karranna mostly faced Lord Rhizzban Von
Drodeen on her own, though the Death Knight made it clearly known
that he was a minion of Lord Drakhon. The battle was fierce
and deadly as it used its powers against the band, but with their combined
might of strength and spell they soon defeated him. Although in return
for this Varmillion gave a few words of gentle advice to Valaria and a
ancient and very rare Wand of healing to the adventurers.
So it was decided upon they
would travel to find Drakhons fortress within the Barren Lands....
to the desert they traveled and then into the desert they traveled at night.
Although, a small little man came running up from behind them, a little
kender rogue...Regalan Tymorian who joined the band wiht some "slight"
excitment, afterall he hadnt battled any mad mages for a long time! And
he warmed up considerably to Juan..although Juan doesnt warm up to Regalan.
(hehehe) AFter days of desert travel they come upon a black pyramid within
the deserts center.
