Why make this Diablo web site? I guess I made it just so I could have a place I could call my own. Originally I simply wanted to put up a few screen shots and maybe throw in a forum for kicks. I slowly started adding stuff and now Darkman's Lair is to the point where you can actually call it a site ;) I've got the standard links, some nice stories, and a message board. Link them together and you have Darkman's Lair. It's not meant to be one of the 'good' sites, but I hope you enjoy your stay at the Lair :) Darkman I'm a 20 year-old student at the University of Texas in Austin who's been playing Diablo since Christmas '97. Yes, as my friends will tell you, I have an addiction :) Aside from playing the Diablo series and other computer games like Quake 2, Baldur's Gate 1 & 2, Icewind Dale, Age of Empires 2, and Nox, I enjoy playing and watching most sports. I play quite a bit of tennis and I like to think of myself as a decent player--my team won state two years in a row in high school :) I also enjoy duck hunting, skiing, going to movies, and hanging out with friends (an activity which usually involves watching sports and/or drinking beer :) As far as my Diablo handle is concerned, I have been known under many different aliases. The most prominent are Darkman and Layil, names which I garnered from comic books. I originally started posting at the Diablo Strategy Forum as somedude in March of 1998 and subsequently changed handles to Darkman and then later to Layil. Although I have never been one of the frequent posters, I have always been lurking around. I've been content to mostly read and reply only to posts that don't receive proper attention, or to occaisonally elaborate on others' responses. As some of you may note, I have "officially" left the DSF on several occaisons, but inevitably I always find myself coming back for some reason...
