Vampire Movie Lite: a very funny movie, with lots and lots of vampire jokes. Not a lot of anything else, though � not a lot of substance, plot or character development included. The movie and vampire equivalent to cotton candy (which I love, don�t think I would ever knock cotton candy, I�d kill anyone who said I didn�t like cotton candy -- which would actually be more vampiric than anything found in this movie.)
Vic accidentally kills his girlfriend in a moment of passion, and realizes he can�t kick the habit alone. When he calls Vampires Anonymous for help they set him up with a sponsor (Michael �I was in Reservoir Dogs� Madsen, I kid you not) and a new identity near his substitute food source: sheep, which leads to the famous warning from the movie �BEWARE THE SHEEP FUCKERS.� Can you resist a movie with that warning included? I think not.
While avoiding a corporate slayer (Taffeta) hired to stop him, he manages to fall in love, struggle with his instincts when dealing with rednecks of the area, and make plenty of calls to his sponsor. He also gets to go to a couple of support meetings, where the snacks are animals brought in to take the edge off the blood lust. Even I, animal lover extraordinaire, found that scene hilarious, and if I didn�t find it offensive no one can.
It�s really too much fun to pass up.
