| When you first join Shadownia, you start with the stats for the character you have chosen, 300 dollars, and the weapon deemed suitable for your character. For more info on joining, please see the joining page. Your Hp is your health during a battle this is what gets reduced when you run out of Hp you die, and therefore lose the battle. Your magic is what enables you to preform your special abilities. Your speed determines how quickly you can attack someone. If you are slower than them they will have a better chance at blocking your attack. Your attack tells you the force that you attack with, and your block is the amount of force of an attack that you are able to block before you absorb damage. Your EXP is your experiance points. You gain experiance points during training, and every time you win a battle your experiance goes up by 500. This tells you and other player's how good you are. The more experience points you gain the more your other stats will go up in points as well. You can, however, train for just one of you stats to go up in point value. When you does this though, you will not gain EXP. Shade will keep up with your stats which is why you email her your training sessions as well as how many battles you have won. When you tell Shade that you have won a battle, you must also tell her whom you were dueling with and the date that you did so. This will enable her to check that you did indeed win. Not to mention the person you beat having died recently will be emailing Shade to be brought back to life. BASIC RULES 1) When you are dueling you will take turns. 2) The person with the least EXP gets to go first. 3) Your Hp will be fully restored at the end of a battle, unless you died. 4) You may not allow your opponent to win. You must put up a good fight. 5) You may not cut off the head of any player. 6) You may only perform one attack whether it is magical or not. 7) After you lose, there will be no complaints. Nobody likes a sore loser. 8) Be honest. 9) And of course do no cheat. If yours speed is twice as high as your opponenets, then your opponenet will get 2 extra turns, to be taken whenever they please. Blocking someone's attack does not count as a turn. Attacking does count as a turn. TRAINING When training you may train on any of your stats. If you want to train to get EXP then you must train on all of the stats. When training you email Shade a message of a certain word count. When training on Attack and Block, you would write an email saying you do a certain attack, and then you block it. When training on Magic, you write an email saying you perform your specail abilities. When training on speed you write an email saying that you dart around and dodge various attacks.. When training on Hp you have yourself absorbing the damage from various attacks. Shade will decide how much points you will gain per training session, but the longer the email the more points you are likely to get! You don't have to train using the examples given above, if you have a better way of training you are more than welcome to use it. FIGHTING TECHNIQUES When you dodge an attack, it is based upon speed instead of your block, but you treat it the same way. For example if your block is 100 and your speed is 400, and someone attacks you with an attack of 300, if you block the attack you will lose 200 Hp, however, if you dodge the attack you will absorb no damage. You may only dodge an attack 5 times during a battle. The Sword Catch- If your opponent is cutting down towards you with their sword, you can catch it. This only works if your EXP is higher than theirs. If your EXP is higher then you will catch the sword and absorb no damage, if your EXP is lower and you attempt this then you will absorb all the damage from their attack plus 200. Cutting off body parts- There are parts of the body of course that you are not permitted to cutt off. Like the head, hands and legs. Any other body parts such as arms, fingers, etc. you can remove only if your EXP is higher than that of your opponent. DIEING You do not have to die in order to lose a battle, Your opponent must always ask if you give before he deals the killing blow. If you do not concede to defeat however, he will kill you. If this happens you must bribe Shade into bringing you back to life, or you must remain as a ghost. Poison if not cured in 3 turns, will kill you no matter what. A ghost has no ability to attack. |
