The Shadow Cat
Home
Shade is here in this rpg for the benefit of the players.  She is here to help you.  Shade does not normally particpate in the duels due to the fact that she is all powerful.  Every time a character in the rpg goes up in stats, she goes up.  This makes her virtually invulnerable.
If you insult Shade, she may decide to injure you.  As you may have noticed her attack is very high, and increases regularly.  So, it is not a very good idea to provoke her.  Seeing as Shade is a cat she can be very tempramental.  Shade will not stay ticked at you for long.
Shade does many things for you, the player, but it comes at a price.  If you check the items list you can buy items that you can use to bribe Shade with.  Tuna is not one of Shade's favorite things in the world.  She may refuse to take your bribe if you offer her tuna.  Then again, she may not.
Shade may give you various items; the item depends on what you bribe her with.  As  you can imagine the more expensive the bribe the better the item.  However this is not always the case.  It all depends upon Shade's mood at the moment.  Please note that Shade is very fond of Shiny Things.
Shade will also give you status increases these are not very high increases but they will help.  You have no control over whether you get an item or a status increase or money.
Yes, Shade will give you money.  this only happens when Shade is feeling extremely generous or is especially pleased with you.  This happens very rarely.
You do have a choice in one matter however.  If you are on the losing end of a battle you die. You can still buy things though.  Which means you can bribe Shade into reviving you!
All your have to do is to tell Shade that you want to be revived.  Otherwise, she will give you whatever.
You may also build up "Brownie points" with Shade in order to get one of the more expensive items.  Remember you will still have no choice as to what that item will be.  If you ever want to spend your "Brownie points" all you have to do is to tell Shade.        It is a good idea to have brownie points built up if you ever need revivng.  You can easily spend your brownie points for this.  It costs exactly 72 points.  Why the extra 2 you ask?   Because shade enjoys being difficult.
If you want to know how many brownie points you have at any given time you go and look at your stats.  You don't have to worry about emailing Dartanion your brownie points.  Shade will do this for you.  This ensures that no one cheats and says they have more than they really do, and it saves you some time and trouble.

Sending Shade spam will result in status decreases, so I suggest that you do not do this without her express permission, which I doubt she will give you.  Shade is always happy to hear from you though
