PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE
	Independent Practitioner SPED Teacher and English Language Tutor April 1997 to present As a SPED Teacher, I handle special children with autism, mental retardation, learning problems and multiple disabilities. I train parents and caregivers in handling their special children at home. As an English Language Tutor, I facilitate the use of English Language both in oral and written communication to Chinese, Taiwanese, and Korean students in all levels. Learning Partners School Inc., Greenhills SPED Teacher, June 1995 to March 1997 Conducted early intervention and behavior modification programs to special children ages 1.5 to 21 years. Handled mainstream Nursery I and II classes. Conducted regular Parent-Teacher conferences. Networked with the speech pathologists, occupational therapists, physical therapists, developmental pediatricians and psychologists. University of the Philippines Baguio City Research Assistant. November 1994 to May 1995 Conducted research on the indigenous Learning systems of the Kankanaeys in Mt. Province. Conducted individual and panel interviews, participant observation and other techniques to gather data. Prepared reports and summary of information gathered. Anthropological Association of the Philippines Research Assistant, April 1994 to November 1994 Conducted Research on the Ethnography of the Isnegs in Apayao Province Particularly assigned to make descriptive report on the Isneg's lifecycle, training and education. PERSONAL INFORMATION
	I was born in the town of Mangatarem, Pangasinan on 10 September 1971. I come from a family of educators - my grandfather, my parents, aunts and uncles were teachers. In my generation, I was the only one who continued the tradition. In the future, I hope my children would want to be teachers too.
