The Cat People
There's this couple that you really should meet,
they come here every week.
They have a habit you just can't beat;
it really is quite unique.

They order their food, then take a seat,
and take out a some plastic sacks.
Before they even start to eat,
they pull out toy stuffed cats.

They line them up on the table,
facing to us with shiny eyes.
They fit as many as they are able,
there are cats of every size.

There are tabbies and a calico,
and cats that move their paws.
A big gray cat with eyes of dough,
and no one really knows the cause.

They stick around an hour or two,
or maybe even more.
They back up when they are through,
then walk out our little store.
