| Akasha was not the sweet and gentle spirit that the Children of the Desert's history would have you believe. ~She~ developed the 'dance' not for entertainment, but to get revenge on the barbarians that had killed so many when the elves crashed in this acursed place. Of those she trained, she had an exceptional pupil in Saha, who bested Akasha killing her in the proccess. Ashamed of her deed and worried that others may fall victim to the advanced stages of training she confessed to what she had done, embellishing the truth by claiming that she had preserved Akasha's spirit in her own body to be born when she conceived. Saha did not have the power to have done any of this, yet it was believed simply because all wished to believe it so. From this lie their entire society was born and the truth of the 'dance' was lost; until recently, though most have yet to comprehend the implications. |
