The Vault
Introduction
Welcome, you have found level 2 of The Vault, some of my poetry resides here. You'll find different poems for different moods, just look around. I write my poetry with my own preceptions of life, the interpretation of experence and the emotions behind them. Using my imagination as my canvas, I paint pictures with words and expand minds with ideas. Antipathy of Desolation a.k.a.the hatered of being alone. This poem was written in the fall of '96. I had just left school and my roommate had just moved out. I was spending most of my time alone and started writing again this was one of the poems I had written.
Antipathy of Desolation
A whisper at midnight and a teardrop in the rain
A full moon peering between the clouds
The moan in the dark of a lost love
The kiss of strangers in the chill of the night
Alone I sit and ponder, alone I sit in wonder
My life, perplexed with trepidation
The dawn of dusk as clouds congregate in the midnight sky
Trees shimmering in a cool nights' breeze
Rain falling without rhythm
Meeting you in the darkness, not knowing who you are
Yet alone I sit, I ponder, get to you, I must
Pathos and tragedy, Yin and Yang.
The haze of the midnight blue, illuminating my way
I follow, if only instinctively
I travel with shadows
In search of destiny, I'll know by your embrace
No longer do I ponder, no longer in wonder
I have found what is needed.
