1.) How the film stacks up to what I feel are the ultimate 5 Skull movies which hardly anyone contests in the horror community. To name a few; Dead Alive, Evil Dead 2, Return Of The Living Dead, Night Of The Living Dead, Dawn Of The Dead, Story Of Ricky, etc.
2.) I do try my best to keep the general public's interest at hand. For example, I love movies like Rock N Roll Nightmare but if someone goes into it expecting a five skull movie, people would run after me demanding a refund. Yes no need to thank me general public. Consider me your Captain America except with no super powers and a lower IQ.
3.) If something in the movie is done more than frequently that irritates me; its basically f*cking itself out a good rating.
Keep in mind, sometimes the lower the rating, the the movie better it is. How does that work...well if you like crappy movies you should already know. If theres a review you disagree with, in all seriousness theres nothing wrong with that. Also don't always take my word for it for films you haven't seen; check the movie out yourself. Unlike some review sites, I'm not claiming to be a serious journalist on top of working 40 hours a week at an unrelated job. Rather, I'm just a nerd who likes to write reviews about mostly lousy movies.
