Darkside Jokers is a rap group from chicago. It consists of Graphic and Joey Nowa. The group started off in October 2001 as the Chi-Town Clownz featuring at the beginning Diamond Dust and Joey Nowa. Diamond Dust turned into Al 2 Dope, and then eventually Diablo. Alot of songs were written for the Clownz, but only 2 were recorded. They used a karaokee machine to record the two songs, Beating Them and The Joker. After that they dropped the Chi-Town Clown name and became the Darkside Jokers. Diablo changed his name to McNk (MC Northside Killa). They finally got a way to make music without the karaokee machine and started making an E.P. On December 31st 2003 the first Darkside Jokers song was recorded, Darkside Anthem. They decided they were going to make an E.P. called Welcome to the Darkside. Alot of songs were recorded but most were dropped. The songs were Darkside Anthem, Shouts, Imma Ride, 2 First Degrees, On the other End, Nightmares, Dreams, Welcome to the Da?rkside, and Kill Somebody Feat. Oreo. They wanted everything to sound good, so 4 of those songs were dropped, and all the others were rewritten or re-recorded. Their first actual show was scheduled for August 7th, 2004. It never happened. Right now the DSJ is busy working on rewriting all of Welcome to the Darkside. |
