Geoffery Bodine wins Martinsville! Geoff, with the win, also took over the points lead. Hut Stricklin and Shane Hall both have really good runs; so do many other drivers. RESULTS ARE HERE!

So... Who will drive the 57? This week, Tandy Marlin will drive the 57 Cracker Barrel Ford. If results are good enough, he may be in it next week, too.
Ron Young moves up to the ARC Sportsman series, from the Late Model series. Ron has ran 4 races in the ARC Late Model series, with a best finsh of 10th. Ron has also ran 2 ARC Sportsman races, with a best finsh of 7th.
Willie T. Ribbs leaves the 80 team Willie T. Ribbs and his sponsor, BET, have left the 80 ARC Sportsman team. No word on where he may end up.
RCA to sponsor Hut Stricklin: The 61 team has just announced that they will sponsor Hut Stricklin for the rest of the year. Hut, who finshed second at Michigan, is now up to 7th in points; he is 3rd in the last 5 races.
Kevin Lepage WINS Michigan Kevin Lepage got his carrer first ARC Ultra Cup win today, after taking the Michigan 400 race. After winning the pole, Lepage led 118 of the 200 laps, and beat second place Hut Stricklin by nearly two seconds. RESULTS ARE HERE!

Next year? I am already working on the ARC Ultra Cup sche'd for next year. But, I am thinking about combining the ARC Late Model Series with the ARC Sportsman Divison for next year. Then, have the Sportsman split into atleast three divisons: one for the West Coast, one for the Mid West, and one for the South.thanks for everyone who e mailed me with thoughts!!!
NEW this week is the Ultra Cup Superspeedway Challenge. The Ultra Cup Superspeedway Challenge is to find out which Ultra Cup driver is the best at Superspeedways. To find out, they will use a point system at the following tracks: Michigan, Talladega, Kentucky, and Nashville Superspeedway. The point system used will be:

POINTS UPDATE: In the ARC Late Model series, Stuart Kirby has a 55 point lead over Brad Teague. Wade Day is third, Ned Combs is forth, and Mark McFarland is fifth. in the LAST 4 races, Stuart Kirby is first, with 639 points. Wade Day is second, Teague third. In the Sportsman series, Fedawa leads (for now, read below), Jimmy Kitchens is second, Phil Parsons is third, Hank Parker Jr. forth, and Joe Buford moves up to fifth. In the LAST 5 races, Tim Fedawa is first, with 790 points, while Jimmy Kitchens is a close second, and Hank Parker Jr., is an even closer third. Phil Parsons and David Stremme round out the top five. In the ARC Ultra Cup series, Geoff Bodine leads... More info later.... In the LAST 6 races, Geoff Bodine leads, with 975. Ted Musrave is second, Casey Atwood third, Jay Sauter forth, and Hut Stricklin fifth.
ARC SPORTSMAN POINT LEADER OUT! ARC Sportsmanj point leader Tim Fedawa has been replaced by Randy Lajoie, effective at Michigan this weekend. Tim also drives in the NASCAR Busch series, and with this weeks race a Michigan being held at 5:30, there is no way Tim can do both races. Tim has a 53 point lead over Jimmy Kitchens, who has just moved into second spot in the standings.
Skinner out, back to Cup. Mike Skinner will be driving the 01 U.S Army Pontiac in Winston Cup, begining with the Brickyard 400. And because of this, he will not be driving the 57 Cracker Barrel car any longer. UPDATE: P.J. Jones may replace him. UPDATE2 : P.J. Jones will be driving the Cracker Barrel #57 Ford this weekend at Michigan, along with driving the Sportsman race at Michigan in the #97 Menard's Chevy. UPDATE 3: Mike Wallace is a candidate for this ride, too.
BORIS SAID WINS!!! Boris has won the Laguna Seca 200. Mike Skinner is second, P. J. Jones, Geoff Bodine, and Ted Musgrave are the rest of the Top 5. Geoff now has a 6 point lead over Ted Musgrave. Here come the Road Ringers: With the Ultra Cuppers racing at Laguna Seca this weekend, a few teams have enlisted road racers to drive there cars. These teams include: Boris Said in the 41 car, Scott Pruett in the 97 car, Paul Menard in the Andy Petree ride, R.K. Smith in the Dave Marcis car, along with P.J. Jones, in a second Cracker Barrel Ford, Johnny Miller, David Donohue, David Murry, Brian Simo, and Tom Hubert.
ARC Sportman drivers will be headed to Dixie Speedway, a dirt track in Northern Georgia this weekend. Because nobody e mailed me with any suggestions, I decided Dixie Speedway would be a good track. Note that this week the race will be held on Friday night...
Late Model R&D car news: The americanracingcitcuit.cjb.net ARC Late Model R&D car (now that's a mouth full to say!) will not be headed to Old Dominion Speedway due to the large number of entries in that race. The ARC Late Model R&D car races to give drivers who are thinking about racing in this series some experience they wouuld not get otherwise, and with giving a good R&D car for the series and its teams.
Labonte Racing, and driver Justin Labonte, are no longer running Ultra Cup races. The team will instead focus on going full time in the ARC Late Model series. The ARC Late Model series will roll in to Old Dominion Speedway this weekend....
Talk about close racing... Geoff Bodine has a 1 point lead over Ted Musgrave, who just won the race at I 70, for the Ultra Cup title.
MUSGRAVE wins again but this time at I 70 speedway in western Missouri. Musgrave beat Geoff Bodine, who finshed second, by just a half a second. Hut Stricklin is third, Jay Sauter gets forth. RESULTS ARE here.
Hank Parker Jr. has won in the Sportsman race! Hank Parker has just won the Nashville 200 at Nashville Superspeedway. ARC Sportsman point leader, Tim Fedawa, has finished second, and will keep the points lead... at least for now. Randy Lajoie, in a one race deal, led the most laps, but will come home third. results are HERE.

Fedawa to replace Earnhardt... Tim Fedawa will replace Kerry Earnhardt in the Nascar Busch series, effective this weekend at NHIS. No info on what will happen to Tim's ARC Sportsman plans... he is currently leading the ARC Sportsman points. UPDATE: Tim will drive at Nashville this friday, along with NHISthis weekend.
Ruttman wins pole at South Boston Speedway. This will be Joe Ruttman's first short track pole. Casey Atwood will start second, and Hermie Sadler, in Dave Marcises' car will start third. Points leader Geoff Bodine will start ninth... Lineup is here!
Stuart Kirby wins at Orange County! Kirby has just won the Hillsboro 220 at Orange County Speedway. Larry Phillips will finsh a very close second, and Jay Sauter will be forth. RESULTS ARE HERE. Stuart retakes the points lead.

Andretti's back John Andretti will drive a second Andy Petree Racing Chevrolet at South Boston Speedway at South Boston, VA. This whole team is only a one race race deal. The other APR car, the 33, will have Brad Teague driving it this week... ALSO: Eric McClure will drive a second Morgan McClure Chevrolet, sponsored by Kodak and Dixie Pottery.
Mike Skinner will drive the Cracker Barrel 57 Ford for the forseeable future... Mike finshed forth at Atlanta on Sunday, which was the teams best finsh ever.

Hut wins, Bodine gains: Hut Stricklin has just taken the checkered flag at the Atlanta 400... this will be Hut's first ARC win ever. Geoff Bodine finshes second, and gains points on second place in points Ted Musgrave. Buckshot Jones had his best finsh of the year (third), and Mike Skinner, in his first ARC start, will finsh fifth. RESULTS ARE HERE!

Mike Skinner to drive 57 car: Mike Skinner will drive the 57 Cracker Barrel car at Atlanta this weekend. Mike Skinner has had many top fives at this track in a number of serieses. This is a one race deal only.
Greg Sacks has a new sponsership deal with Peterbuilt/ Kenworth for the next two races.

McFarland wins at North Wilkesboro! Mark McFarland has just won the North Wilkesboro 200 at N. Wilkesboro Speedway. Brad Teague finshed second, and, for the first time ever in the ARC Late Model series, will take the points lead... Wade Day finished 10th... RESULTS ARE HERE!!
ARC Late Model drivers will be racing at the famous N. Wilkesboro Speedway this Friday. This will be the first time that many of the younger drivers have seen this place... UPDATE: Brad Teague, on the other hand, has seen this place before... he won the pole today for this race. Lineup for the N. Wilkes 200 is here!

ARC ULTRA CUP LINEUP AND RESULTS FROM NAZERTH, PA.
Derrike Cope and Ben Hess news: Derrike Cope will drive the Cracker Barrel this week at Nazerth, PA. If his performance is good, he may be back next week with the team. Also, Ben Hess has been asked to drive the 97 car this weekend.
11 ARC Ultra Cup team names driver: The 11 Ultra Cup team (Junior Johnson is part owner of the team) has named Chris Cook as driver. Chris has worked with Junior Johnson in the Nascar Busch Series before. UPDATE: The team will only be running select races now, due to sponsership issues.
Field is full at Elko, because Eddie Hoffman has been added in the backup to the 26 Sunoco car. They will attempt the whole race, because Start-and-Parks are illegal in ARC.
Stremme wins first pole at Elko, MN. David Stremme has won the pole for the Elko 300 at Elko Speedway. This will be the first time in ARC history that there will not be a full field. LINEUP IS HERE. (6/19)
Musgrave is the man at Bristol! Ted Musgrave won the Bristol Clash 400, at Bristol Motor Speedway. Ted, along with Geoff Bodine, led most of the race, with Ted leading the last 70 laps. Robert Pressely has his best run of the year (second), and John Andretti, in his first ARC start, finshes third. Geoff Bodine and Brad Teague (who has his best finsh of the year, too) round out the top five. RESULTS ARE HERE.
Bodine on pole at Bristol Geoff Bodine has won the pole for the Bristol Clash 400. Casey Atwood starts second, Robert Pressely starts third. John Andretti, in the Andy Petree-owned car, will start forth. Loy Allen Jr, also making his first start, will start 12th. LINEUP IS HERE.
Stuart Kirby wins at Radford, extends points lead. Stuart Kirby has won the New River Valley 200 in Radford, VA. Chad Harris led the most laps (123), but his engine went south on lap 162, leaving the battle for the win between Stuart Kirby and Wade Day. Stuart came out on top, and became the first repeat winner in ARC Late Model history. RESULTS ARE HERE. Also for the first time in ARC history, I got the standings out at the same time as the results! NOTE: as of 7/8, I no longer update the standings every week, so, this will be one of the only times that I get results and standings out at the same time!
Wade Day on Late Model Pole. Wade Day has won the pole for the New River Valley 200 in Radford, VA. The race will be held later this afternoon. Lineup for New River Valley 200.
More Ultra Cup Silly Season: Mike Cope has been fired from the 11 car. The 11 car is co-owned by Junior Johnson. UPDATE: Cam Strader will drive the 11 car this weekend, with sponsership from Junior Johnson Chicken. Also, John Andretti will be driving the Andy Petree Racing car #33 this weekend at Bristol. John finshed second in the NASCAR Winston Cup race in 2001.
The #9 Randy Lewis Racing ARC Ultra Cup team has closed down. They ran a few races at the first of the season with Stuart Kirby. All equipment will be auctioned off sometime in July.
Christopher Out: Ted Christopher is out of the 76/ Circle K Dodge this week. Ted did not make the Ultra Cup race at Nashville this week. No word on who might replace him. Update: Rich Bickle, who drove the 57 Cracker Barrel car in every Ultra Cup race this year, including Nashville, where he finshed 42nd, will drive the 76 / Circle K Dodge for the rest of the year. Coming in to Nashville, Rich was 19th in points, with one top five finsh at Martinsville. Update: Rich Bickle is now no longer with the 57 team, or the Cracker Barrel Ford. Rich was released from the 57 car at about the same time as Ted was the 76 car, so it made since for Rich to drive the 76 car. Update: Hearing Hermie Sadler or Brad Teague will drive the 57 car for the rest of the year. Update: Tandy Marlin will drive the car at Bristol, and, if the result is good, then he may be back in the car next week. Tandy is currently 29th in points, with a best finsh of 17th at the first Nashville Fairgrounds race.
