Dick Trickle wins again...but for the first time in any ARC series when he won the ARC Ultra Cup race at Fairgrounds Speedway in Nashville. The lineup for the race is here (Elton Sawyer in the Melling Racing Dodge is on the pole), and the results are HERE.

Joe Ruttman has Great Weekend at 'Dega: And his first Ultra Cup win! After winning tthe Sportsman Race, he went on and won the Ultra Cup race. The race included a big pile up, that included Geoff Bodine, the Ultra Cup Points leader. RESULTS ARE HERE.
Elton Sawyer on pole! Sawyer has won his second pole of 2003 today at Talladega, driving the Melling Racing Dodge. LINEUP FOR TALLADEGA 400.
Ruttman Again: Joe Ruttman has won the Talladega 200 ARC SPORTSMAN race today. Joe also won Daytona, so this is Joe's second win. There was a 17 car wreck on lap 33, and included the Sportsman points leader Tim Fedawa. RESULTS ARE HERE. standings coming soon, to a computer near you.
Ultra Cup Talladega News: This will be the second time that the Ultra Cup has visited a Restrictor Plate Track. Some of the teams will have new drivers this week: Joe Ruttman will drive the 8 car. Mark Day will drive the 2 car, which Ruttman usually drives, this week with Earthlink sponsership. C.W. Smith will bring sponsership to the 19 car, while Jimmy Hensely finds himself in Angie Wilson's ride. Greg Sacks will drive the Marcis Racing entry, and Ed Berrier will drive the Junie Donlavy entry. The pole winner from this weeks ARC Sportsman Race, Barry Bodine, will attempt this race in the #69 EKF Electronics car.
Points leader finds ride: Tim Fedawa will drive the 18 Chevrolet this week at Talladega, after Tim's car failed to make the race.
Barry Bodine on pole for Sportsman race! Barry Bodine, with help from Dad, Geoff Bodine, has won the pole for the Sportsman race at Talladega. This will be his first pole; he started 3rd at Daytona. But the biggest news of the day is that Sportsman Points Leader Tim Fedawa failed to make the show. Tim and the 21 team is looking for a ride to be come avalible for him to drive. LINEUP IS HERE.
Cam Strader wins! Cam Strader got the checkered flag today at the Hickory Motor speedway, in Newton, NC. He led 34 laps to get his first ARC Late-Model win ever. RESULTS ARE HERE. Standings COMING SOON.

Late Model is back after nearly a month off. The race this weekend will be at Hickory Motor Speedway in Hickory, NC. Currently, 53 drivers are interesting. Also, Ned Combs has secured sponsership for the rest of the year in his 23 car from Duralube. AND: Ultra Cup driver Angie Wilson will run this event in the Americanracecircuit.cjb.net/ARC R&D car this weekend instead of driving the Ultra Cup event at Talladega. Still 53 on the entry list. BUT: Dale Quarterly will not run this event. Dale finshed dead last in 2 events this year. Entry list is now at 52.
Tim Fedawa has won in Atlanta! Tim Fedawa has just won the Altanta 300@ Atlanta Motor Speedway. Mark Green finshes 2nd. Tim Fedawa remains the points leader. RESULTS FOR ATLANTA 300. Standings coming soon.
Parsons on Pole: Phil Parsons has won the pole for the Atlanta 300 ARC Sportsman race. This will be Phil's first ARC pole ever. LINEUP FOR ATLANTA 300.
Sportsman Series Points Leader gets a full time ride: Sportsman Points leader will drive the 21 car in the sportsman series for the rest of the year. Also in the Sportsman Series, Road-Racer Shane Lewis, who drives the 63 car, has quit that team. The 63 team dosn't expect to be at Atlanta for the Sportsman race this weekend. Finally, Ed Brown, driver of the 4 car, will have sponsership from Atlanta Braves.
MUSGRAVE on pole for Sunday's Race: Ted Musgrave, in the 75 Wal-Mart car, won the pole for the Kentucky 400 at Kentucky Speedway. Points Leader, Geoff Bodine, will start back in 33rd; Kenucky dosn't like Geoff bery much as it seems... 2nd in points Casey Atwood, will start 5th, with John Deere as sponser. LINEUP IS HERE,
Stewart on Pole: On this week of from Winstom Cup, Cup driver Tony Stewart won the ARC Ultra Cup pole. Also sharing the front row with Stewart is Booby Hamilton in the M/W Windows car. Third is the first of the full time ARC drivers, Ted Musgrave. Lineup.
Tuesday ARC Related News UPDATED: First of all, sorry I havn't posted the Ultra Cup results yet. I am going to try to post them soon... have no clue when.... I did say that on Tuesday I would get the Late Model Standings done, and I did. I haven't posted the whole thing yet, but here are the top five in Late Model Points: Stuart Kirby, 463, 1 win. 2: Brad Teague, 456, 1 win. 3:Brian Ross, 442, 1 win. 4: Wade Day. 442. 5. Ned Combs, 428. The big gainer this week: Part Time Late Model driver Barry Bodine. The loser? That's Brian Rose, who was running top 5 before missing South Boston, has fallen to 19th place in the standings. UPDATE: The race will be held on Monday the 21st, the day right after Easter. Time Trials will be held on Thursday, the 17th.
Schrader on Pole...and in Victory Lane! Ken Schrader won the pole for the Sportsman race at South Boston. Then, he wins the race this Saturday. Veterens Joe Ruttman and Phil Parsons finsh second and third, while Joey Clanton claims forth. RESULTS FOR SOUTH BOSTON 350. Standings are coming soon... maybe by Tuesday (the 11th) or so.
Schrader on Pole: Ken Schrader won the pole for the ARC Sportsman race at South Boston speedway. Joey Clanton starts second in the #99 car, and Tim Fedawa, in a one race deal with Kyle Petty in the 43, will start third with Old Dominion Freight Lines as sponser again. Lineup.
Brad Teague wins at SoBo! Brad Teague won the South Boston 250 Presented by STP at Big Daddy's South Boston Speedway. In all three Late Model races this year, we've had three different winners this year. Mark McFarland finshes second. Stuart Kirby still remains the point leader. Results for South Boston 250.

\Two more Former Busch Series Drivers wil be at SoBo: Last weeks Sportsman winner, Hank Parker Jr., has signed a contract to drive the 26 Sunoco car for the rest of the year in the Sportsman Series. Also, ARC Sportsman Point leader, Tim Fedawa, will drive the 43 Kyle Petty owned car this weekend at South Boston; Austin Petty was supposed to drive that car this weekend.
ARC Late Model News: At practice, Ned Combs drove the 5 car instead of the 23 car. Brad Baker will drive the Jesel car this weekend. Nick Woodward will drive the 34 ARC Late Model Series R&D car.
Hank Parker Jr wins at Rockingham! Former Busch driver Hank Parker Jr. won todays Sportsman race at The Rock. He beat Lyndon Amick, Randy Renfrow, and Jim Sauter. Results for The Rock . I will post standings after the next race. Speaking of the next race, it will be held at South Boston speedway in Virgina. Also, Tim Fedawa is the Sportsman points leader, while Norm Benning and Jimmy Kitchens are tied for second place.
Petty on Pole: Mark Petty has won the pole for the Sportsman race at The Rock. Dan Shaver, driving the Citgo car, will start second. Former NASCAR driver Jim Sauter will start third today in a one race deal with Dale Earnhardt Chevrolet. Lineup.
Brian Ross wins at Kenly! Brian Ross has won the ARC Late-Model race at Southern National Speedway, just outside of Kenly, NC. He easily beats Barry Bodine, Tom Baldwin Sr., Brad Teague and Brian Rose, the rest of the lead lap cars. Stuart Kirby, last week's winner, finshes 6th, and will remain the points leader in this series. Results for the Southern National Speedway 250 is here. I will post championship points later today/tonight. Next week, the boys of the ARC Late-Model series will head to beautiful south central Virgina for the Big Daddy's South Boston Speedway 250. Then, the series will take the rest of April off, but will be back May 9th for a 250-lapper at Hickory (NC) Motorspeedway.
Brad Teague on the Pole. Brad Teague has won the pole for the second ARC Late-Model race at Southern National Speedway in Kenly, NC. The race should happen later today. Lineup for Southern National Speedway 250 is here. The Sportsman race will be held in Rockingham, NC on Saturday, and the ARC Ultra-Cup race will be held in "Music City", Nashville, TN on sunday, weather permitting.
Geoff Bodine Goes Back to Daytona Victory Lane!!!!!! Wow. What a special race. First, it was the first ARC Ultra-Cup Race ever. Second, there was many lead changes and wrecks. And third, after all those wrecks and 400 laps, Geoff Bodine, a "washed-up" Winston Cup driver won the race by hundredts of a second over Ted Musgrave and a hard charging Kevin Lepage. Geoff Bodine, 1986 Daytona 500 winner, will get his name in the record books for winning both the first ARC Ultra-Cup race, and also because he won the first Spring Break 400 @ Daytona- our verson of the Daytona 500. It sure was a wild and fun day. Results for the Spring Break 400@Daytona. Geoff Bodine will lead championship points, and ARC Ultra-Cup teams will head to Nashville, Tennessee for the Fairgrounds 400. We will have results when it happens.
Joe Ruttman does it at Daytona!!!! Joe Ruttman has won the Spring Break 200 at Daytona; he won it in the 8 DEI Chevrolet sponsered by Dale Earnhardt Chevolet. Finshing second was Mike Harmon in the GIC Chevrolet, and third was Geoff Bodine, in the 09 car. The Time Has Come: Geoff Bodine, driving the 09 car, has won the pole for the first ever ARC sportsman race. He will also attempt the 09 Apple Computers car in the ARC Ultra-Cup race this weekend. LINEUP. Weekend recap: This week Sportsman and Ultra Cup series' will be racing at Daytona Beach. Yesterday, Stuart Kirby won the first ARC race ever by beating Wade Day in the Late-Model series at Myrtle Beach Speedway.
"We got it! This will go down in history for sure!!!!!" The first ARC race ever was ran today at Myrtle Beach Speedway. Rain was in the area all day, but it didn't rain during the race. Speaking of the race, it was exciting. Stuart Kirby beat Wade Day by just one tenth of a second. We hope all the ARC races will be this exciting! RESULTS FOR TODAY
RAIN IN DAYTONA Rain has been in the area all day, so Sportsman time trials have been moved to Saterday. The Sportsman race has been moved to Sunday. Also, the Ultra-Cup race will now take place at 3:30 Sunday Afternoon, unless rain comes again Sunday. Speaking of rain, it is currently raining in Myrtle Beach, SC. We are going to try to get the race in at the advertised time of 5:00, but we might not. We will keep you people at home posted about everything.
Brian Rose on the Pole at Myrtle Beach Speedway! UPDATED: Brian Rose will become the first person ever to win a pole in any of the ARC series', when he ran a lap of 20.065 seconds! Pete Sylva, driving the Food Lion car, will start second. Brad Teague, C.W. Smith, and Mark Day round out the top five. I will post results soon. Weather will be an issue this weekend, with rain predected Friday, Saturday, Sunday, and Monday at both Myrtle Beach, and Daytona Beach. Let's hope for no-rain!! Pre Season Silly Season News: Ultra Cup: Carl Long has left the 55 team. Joe Ruttman has left the 2 team, and will drive the 8 Dale Earnhardt Chevrolet car. Brian Rose will drive the 28 Texaco Dodge this week. Kroger will sponser Stuart Kirby and the #9 team this week at Daytona. Ed Berrier will drive the No. 90 Junie Donlavy owned car... Martin Truex will drive the 96 car that Ed Berrier usually drives. (3/25/03) UPDATE: Joe Ruttman will only drive the #8 DEI-owned Chevorlet at Daytona. Every other week he will drive the #2 car. Speaking of the #2 car, Mark Day will drive it this week at Daytona. Mike Cope this week will have part sponsership from Junior Johnson. Northern Alabama will sponser Steve Grissom this week. In the Sportsman series, Trent Owens and the 40 Dodge team has sponsership from Dickies this week. And, Jay Sauter will drive a Sunoco backed car at the Sportsman Spring Break 200 @ Daytona. (3/27/03) UPDATE: Carl Long will drive the Motel 6 / Accor / Red Roof Inns Dodge for the rest of the ARC Ultra-Cup season. This happens just one day before Ultra-Cup First Practice at Daytona.

Mike Wallace going back to Winston Cup? UPDATE: Yep. Mike Wallace could be a replacement driver in ether the 01 or 30 car in Winston Cup. UPDATE: Mike Wallace will be in the 01 Army car. No idea how this will effect is ARC plans. Mike has 2 top tens this year. Wallace Released from the 97 ARC team this morning. No idea who will replace him. UPDATE: Tandy Marlin will drive the 97 car at Talladega this weekend. But, Tandy was supposed to drive the 35 car for Bobby Gerhart Racing....
Ted Musgrave wins Historic Race: After 6 and a half years of nothing, the famous North Wilkesboro track in N. Wilkesboro, NC is back in action. After the Ultra Cup cars took 400 laps around it, Ted Musgrave, in the 75 Wal Mart car, was in Victory Lane. This was Ted's first win. Geoff Bodine has yet another Top 5 finsh, keeps the points lead. North Wilkesboro Returns to Action!!!!! March 3rd 2003: North Wilkesboro is back! On the forth (Sunday), the first ARC race ever at N. Wilkesboro will take place. And today, for the first time ever ARC cars took to this famous track. Ted Musgrave won the pole; this was his third this season. Points leader Geoff Bodine will start second. LINEUP IS HERE.
Three Drivers will attempt for their first Ultra-Cup start. The three are NASCAR veteran Mike Potter, in the Team Texaco #28 Texaco sponsered Dodge, Cam Strader in the DEI #8 Dale Earnhardt Chevrolet, and finally, Gary Bradberry in the Donlavy Racing #90 Unsponsered Ford.
Little Rocks at Kentucky. Chad Little has won the Kentucky 400. Chad led only a handful of laps, but he led the most important: the last. Elton Sawyer, and Jay Sauter finshed second and third. Points leader Geoff Bodine finshes forth; he had one tough day. He started 34th, and countined to work on his car, and work through the field, and was one of the only points leaders to come home in one piece. This was not a good day to run up front: Race leader Tim Steele, who was having the best run of his season, blew up entering turn three, and 2nd place Ted Musgrave spun in the oil and collected Mike Wallace. In another wreck, Casey Atwood was leading the race when the lapped car of Ron Cox blew a tire just ahead. In the melee, Casey got tagged and went into the wall. Casey had to go behind the wall for a few laps while they fixed the damage... RESULTS ARE HERE. Standings coming late Monday or Tuesday.
Ultra Cup Heads to Northern Kentucky for the Kentucky Speedway 400!! The only ARC series racing this week, UltraCuppers head to Florance, KY. Kentucky Speedway is a 1.5 mile track tri-oval track. A few drivers/sponsers will be making their first ARC appearance this weekend: Greg Sacks has sponsership this weekend from the Dayton Air Museum; Tim Steele and the 7 team have sponsership from bp/Amoco; Joe Ruttman will drive the 8 DEI owned car, instead of the 2 TBA car; Stuart Kirby has sponsership from Kroger again; David Reuttiman will be in the part time Hills Bros. car this weekend; Brad Teague will be in the 33 Andy Petree car for the second time this season; John Deere will sponser Casey Atwood again; Jeff Fultz, from just across the Ohio River, will be in the 50 car this weekend; Dwayne Leik will be in the 71 car Dave Marcis, instead of the 81 car; Ed Berrier will be in the 90 Junie Donlavy car, instead of the 96; and finally, Tandy Marlin and Robbie Cowart will drive second and third Gerhart Racing cars.
Bodine Makes History Again! Happy Easter everyone! Geoffery Bodine sure's having one-he won the Marinsville America 400 today. He becomes the first driver ever to have repeat wins in any ARC Series (He also won the Spring Break 400@ Daytona). finshing second is Joe Ruttman. Recap: Tony Stewart won the pole, but on the first lap he was passed by Bobby Hamilton. Tony Stewart didn't lead a single lap today-he might've, but his engine blew just before half way. Bobby Hamilton led lap 1-63. A four car wreck happend on the second lap. It began with Ted Christopher got turned by Frank Kimmel, and collected the currently 39th through 42nd place cars of Lance Norick, Ted Turner, Ted Christopher, and Rick Fuller. Last place Dwayne Leik made it through with no damage. Bobby Hamilton led the most laps, but with about 20 to go, he had a tire go down and he had to fix it. He was running third at the time. RESULTS FOR MARTINSVILLE AMERICA 400.
Martinsville News: Practice begins at Martinsville at 1:30 EST. Many NASCAR drivers will participate on this week off, and some drivers new to stock car racing in general will participate.Some of these drivers include Tony Stewart (No. 20 Home Depot / GE), Christan Fittapaldi (No. 43), Bobby Hamilton (No. 50), and Frank Kimmel (No. 46 Advance Auto Parts). Also attempting to make this race are Brad Teague in Dave Marcis' car, West Coast driver Austin Cameron (No. 8 DEI car), and NASCAR car owner Andy Petree.
Atwood Wins at his Home Track! Casey Atwood won at Fairgrounds Speedway. Casey, from just outside Nashville, claims his first victory in ARC. Jay Sauter was second. Results for Fairgrounds Speedway @ Nashville. Geoff Bodine remains the points leader.
