MORE COMING LATER UNDER CONSTRUCTION
The show, X-men: Evolution is only loosly based on the orginal show and comics. This is a section where I point those errors out. I grew up as a fan of the comics and mostly, the original tv show. My favorite characters where Rogue and Gambit and I have to say Rogue is soooo different than her original counterpart. True, I still like her, but not as much in Evolution as in the original.

Error #1- The whole character of Rogue
     Reason:
The timeline is messed up. At her age, 17, she's supposed to be freshly in the Brotherhood, she had just ran away from home in Caldecott, Mississippi after putting her boyfriend, Cody into a coma. Also, she didn't join the X-men until after she aquired Ms. Marvel's powers (flight, super strength and near invulnerability)

Error #2- Gambit, Colossus and Spyke's appearance in the show
Reason: Gambit isn't even supposed to be in Bayville at the time, he's supposed to be in N'Awlins. Storm goes back in time and meets him then brings him into the X-men, he was never part of Magnet's Acolytes. Colossus, too, isn't supposed to be in the show yet, he's in Russia. And who the hell is Spyke?! He wasn't in the original.

Error #3- Wolverine is supposed to like Jean Grey

Reason: In the show, he acts more like a father than a person with a love interest

NEW Error #4- The affiliation of Pyro, Colossus, Nightcrawler, Boom-Boom Cannonball and Gambit
Reason: Pyro is supposed to be in the Brotherhood, Colossus wasn't even there yet, Nightcrawler is supposed to be in Germany, he wasn't discovered until much later, Boom-Boom and Cannonball is supposed to be in the X-force and Gambit's in New Orleans.

NEW Error #5- Iceman/ Bobby Drake
Reason- In the comics, Iceman/ Bobby Drake was recruited by Charles Xavier, second only to Cyclopes, his first student. In other words, Iceman was in the X-men before Wolverine, Storm and even Jean Grey. So noy way is he supposed to be a "New Mutant trainee thing".
