"Who's not doing what?" Jeryllan asked as she entered her weyr. Her silver llithra, Thau, clung from her arm, vainly trying to grab the bubbly pie the rider held in her other hand. "No, Thau." She told him crossly. "No bubbly pies. You aren't supposed to have them, anyway."
'Llan! Bubbly pie! Please? The llithra chirped as he pleaded with her.
"No." Jeryllan said again, before turning back to her dragon and cinettai. "What's this about, now?"
Kaareth's getting proddy. Medyn snickered.
I am not getting proddy! The green-blue dragon hissed.
Jeryllan frowned, glancing at her dragon. "I think we all need to take a vacation." She said, holding back Thau with one arm while she set down the bubbly pie. "How about we all go stay at Dragonwillow Weyr for a few sevendays?"
Sounds good to me. Medyn said. My, the bubbly pies are good today. Good work, Thau.
"Medyn!" Jeryllan cried in dismay when she turned to see the filched bubbly pie disappearing down the greedy cin's throat. "You shaffing little thief!"

Jeryllan sighed. Between talking, thieving pets and a green-blue dragon ready to rise, she didn't think she'd be getting much rest during this 'vacation'...
