Dark Light LRP Membership Information Dark Light LRP is a membership Live-Roleplaying organisation, run by a self appointed team of organisers for the benefit of its members. | Terms and Conditions of Dark Light Membership By becoming a member of Dark Light LRP the member agrees to abide by all the rules and regulations of Dark Light LRP Attendees of Dark Light LRP events who are not Dark Light LRP members are required to pay the fees at the Non-members rates and cannot take advantage of other membership benefits other than attendance at that event. Non-members who attend a Dark Light LRP event agree to abide by all the rules and regulations of Dark Light LRP as though they were Members Members are expected to act in a responsible manner at Dark Light LRP events: Members agree not to bring any dangerous articles to Dark Light LRP events i.e. pyrotechnics, unsafe or metal weapons, firearms, etc. Any found will be confiscated and returned at the end of the event. Members agree not to bring any illegal weapons, substances or contaband to a Dark Light LRP event Members agree that replica firearms should be distinguishable as such if removed from the private areas of any playing area. Responsibility cannot be taken for members who take replica firearms into public areas Members agree to comply with the rules of the sites used by Dark Light LRP Members understand the Dark Light LRP is a live-action system where physical combat takes place with LRP safe weapons. Members consent to taking part in such combats and agree to do so as safely as they can. It is the duty of player to ensure that any weapons which they choose to bring to a Dark Light LRP event are deemed to be safe. Whilst the Organisers will attempt to ensure all weapons are prior to use at an event and those that are not considered to be safe will be not be permitted for use. Members who are considered to inebriated to safely take part in combat or an event may be requested not to participate. No refund will be offered for Members who are excluded from an event due to inebriation The Organisers will not be held liable for any loss or damage to your person or property at an event other than that which results from any other action that the negligence, omission or error of The Organisers Any equipment belonging to Dark Light LRP that is loaned to members is done so on the basis that should it not be returned or be broken then that member will be liable for a contribution for the cost of replacing or repairing it up to the full value of the item No animals may be brought to a Dark Light LRP event |

| Members Benefits Members gain the following benefits as a condition of their membership Vampire The Masquerade Free of Charge Participation in all Vampire : The Masquerade Live-Roleplay events, except on such occassion where a charge may be levied in order to cover extraordinary costs (see below) Game fees otherwise for Non-Members is currently set at �2 per playing game Game Fee Discounts Reductions on game fees which may be imposed for extra-ordinary events and for events which normally charge a game fee. AGM and EGM attendance The right to attend all AGM and EGM meetings and contribute opnion Social Event Attendence The right to attend any official Dark Light LRP Social function Negotiated Discounts The right to access discounts from suppliers with whom Dark Light LRP has negotiated special rates. In order to take advantage of these rates, orders must be placed through Dark Light LRP. Currently Dark Light members have access to the following discounts:- LRPStore - www.lrpstore.com - 5% discount (or as part of a bulk order; up to 10%) Jokers Masquerade - www.joke.co.uk - 5% discount Other Discounts are being negotiated, but members should be aware that with the Club Status many organisations are happy to offer a discount if they feel that this will generate more business. Loan of Club Equipment Members have the right to borrow equipment belong to the club for their own personal use. The Organisers reserve the right to refuse the loan of an item if it is required for any official Dark Light LRP event at the same time. When in the possession of the member, it is their responsibility and they will be liable for a contribution for the cost of replacing or repairing it up to the full value of the item .. The organisers reserve the right not to make certain items available if they feel that public knowledge of such item is not in the best interest of the club A full list of the available property is available upon request from the Organisers Item Purchase If there is an item which you would like the club to purchase on your behalf, the club may agree to do so if the Organisers feel it would be beneficial for the club overall. The item will remain the property of the club |
