The geography of the city

The city of Brighton is much like its natural counterpart, however there are some points worth noting.

1) The following places are all considered to be Elysium. Violence on these premises can be punished with final death

i)
The Caroline of Brunswick on Ditchling Road

ii)
The Colonnade bar next to the Theatre Royal

iii)
The Komedia, in the North Lanes

iv)
The Font and Firkin in the South Lanes

v)
The Open House by London Road Station
The Toreador Primogen: Sascha de St Germaine
Flirtatious and fickle she both charms and irritates those she meets. A master of flirtation she is reknowned for having mortals and Kindred alike eating from her hand. She knows more than she lets on, and has been known to be somewhat treacherous when the mood suits her. She is also well known for her jealous streak, and a number of her ghouls can attest for what happens if their affection strays
The enemies of the Camarilla
The key figures of the city

The Camarilla
The Seneschal: Michael Guildenstern

Michael Guildenstern is the former Prince of Brighton, but stepped down from his position with the arrival of Cristus.
The Childe of Cristus himself, Guildenstern used to have a much more lenient and laid back attitude, though Cristus encouraged his lieutenent to adopt stricter methods of running the city.
Guildenstern runs the majority of the smaller matter affecting the city, as Cristus tend not to get involved in the affairs of the Neonates. He also acts as the Brujah Primogen member
Clarence & Digitalis (aka Foxglove)

These two entered our city several years ago posing as Ravnos and then took the city "for a ride", using the Neonates to carry out the assassination of another Kindred.

Digitalis (who called himself DJ) returned at the next meeting for reasons currently unknown before escaping "through a mirror" to New York.

Little is known about Clarence
The names of other Sabbat are known to us but their identities are not available
The Prince: Cristus

Cristus formed the Fief of Brighthelmstone (as it was once called) back in the Middle ages, and claims to be nearly 800 years old.

Some time ago he disappeared only to return 10 years ago from his self-enforced Torpor under the city. He was somewhat dismayed with the state of the city and how things had degenerated since he left.

Cristus is a harsh but just ruler. He tolerates no dissention and expects complete loyalty from those in his city. Though many fear him, they appreciate his ability to get results.

Cristus does not associate with the Neonates, as he believes his time to be too precious. Guildenstern carries out the day-to-day issues. The Neonates will probably never meet Cristus. Maybe they will but only once, when they are first presented to him
The Gangrel Primogen: Griff Davis

Griff is an old school Gangrel. Bored of wandering he decided to settle in Brighton 4 years ago.

An old acquaintance of Cristus, his desire to allow more freedom to Kindred in the city often clashes with Cristus' more hard-line viewpoint, but also complements it. Cristus respects Griffs opinions and allows him to say when he is going too far
The Nosferatu Primogen -Ol' Daisy

Daisy is one of the longer standing members of the city. Ol' Daisy was the "partner" of Aldous Quinlan and was obviously devastated at the news of his death during "The Blight"

Ol' Daisy as she is known has been a Vampire for several hundred years, and whilst sociable to members of her own Clan tends to avoid and distrust others
The Tremere Primogen - Jeremiah Foxworth-Dent

Jeremiah came in at a difficult time, following the death of his predecessor, Pashar Majel. Pashar's apparent conspiracy to destroy the former Seneschal Matthew Baskerville meant that the reputation of the Clan was severely damaged.

Jeremiah is applauded for his efforts in assisting with the destruction of Azethoth, who was the demon Nybriel
The Malkavian Primogen - Clifton Barker

Though seemingly very sane, Clifton is the Malkavian Primogen member. He does spend a great deal of time within the Elysiums and is one of the more sociable members of the city.

He is pleased that more members of his clan have decided to move to Brighton and hopes that they can establish themselves in a city where they are less scrutinised and stigmatised. No-one is really sure what the curse of Malkav has done to Clifton
The Ventrue Primogen

The position remains vacant at this present time following the dismissal of Ignatius Walke for treachery
Ouroboros Ltd

Ouroboros Ltd is a company that has recently moved into the city. The registered office is merely an empty building and the phone lines lead to untraceable numbers.
Ouroboros have been purchasing and acquiring business formerly run by Kindred members of the city, and have been making efforts to restrict Vampire activity.
A shadowy company, their motives and members are currently unknown
There research facility in the University was exposed and destroyed with an unlikely alliance of the Lupines and Kindred mounting an assault, but recent activity has led some to believe that they may be attempting to re-establish a presence here
The Lupine presence in the city has been pretty much eradicated. Following the war with the Lupines, many of the numbers were slaughtered following their attacks on the city. Jared and the other wolf-hunters ably assisted the city in wiping out the main faction heads.
Casabon, Edward Poppy and Romeo

Little is known about Casabon, but his name sometimes crops us whenever the Lupines are mentioned. Whether he was destroyed is unknown

Edward Poppy was believed to be the second in charge. He was destroyed in the war, however not before he could butcher the then Coterie Leader, Jacob Ellis

Romeo was the ambassador for the werewolves. His fate and whereabouts are unknown
The Werewolves
Bathory's
Whilst not technically an enemy of the city, Bathory's have not made themselves popular following the death of Vienna Bailey. Named after the 16th century countess who supposedly bathed in blood to preserve her youth, Bathory's acts as a blood delivery service. They cater for specific requests for those who need it though often their prices are dangerously high.
Whilst some do deal with the organisation, those who value their humanity stay well clear. It is rumoured that the organisation is run by the Setites
Not so much a person or people but an ideology. Supported by the Tremere Archon for the South, the League of Purity believe that all Camarilla cities are the sole right of the Camarilla clans and that all Caitiff and non-Camarilla Clans should be expelled.

Fronted in part by the mysterious and officious "Azethoth, Scourge of the Archons", they had been persuading Princes around the country to ally to their ideals. Those cities whose members reject Azethoths advances are magically branded so that they cannot enter other cities who are allied to the League.

Furthermore those cities who refused to sign up were visited by masked "biker knights" who butchered members of the city

The League was brought down when it was revealed that Azethoth was in fact a demon named Nybriel who had possessed the body of the genuine Azethoth. The bikers were fragments of the demonic persona, By eliminating these bikers and the demon, the League was left leaderless and in tatters. Without the pacts that bound many of its followers to do its bidding the organisation has crumbled.
Mortal Enemies
Unknowns
Mbenke (aka "Calibos") of Clan Samedi

Mbenke has had a presence in the city for several months now, though his intentions are not entirely clear. He was formerly the "sidekick" of Jared a werefolf hunter, though they decided to go their own seperate ways.

Mbenke comes along to the Elysium every now and again often to provide assistance or advice to members of the Coterie. One wonders why?
The Sabbat
Dr Charles Munroe - Sabbat leader?
Dr Charles Munroe  seems to have the ability to mould flesh and bone, and may use this to disguise himself. He also sent us the remains of a 7th Gen Toreador claiming that it was the remains of Rodergio Velasquez. We know this to be a lie, as Velasquez has since returned intact

Munroe has recently appeared in a couple of short video clips which were sent to the coterie
Other Kindred
Liberatae

Liberatae are an offshoot of a larger organisation called the Outraged. Originally set up by dis-satisfied Caitiff, high Generation Kindred and aggressive factions, it campaigns for the "rights" of the out-casts and undesirables of the Kindred society
The campaign for these rights by attacks on prominent Camarilla members, beatings, bombing, arson and general disruption
It is believed that Liberatae may have been deliberately slandered and provoked by the League of Purity to demonstrate the troublesome nature of Caitiff
