DISHABILLE
Dur: 4 melees / level Range: 100 feet
Cost: 5 P.P.E.       Comp: Verbal (wolf whistle), Gesture (point at target, and "cock" thumb like a revolver's hammer)
EFFECT: Turns all inanimate objects on the target's body invisible. Magical and Psionic items get a saving throw vs. spell strength.
SAVE: None, except magical or psionic items

SMYTHIE
Dur: Instantaneous & Permanent Range: One weapon
Cost: 20 P.P.E. Comp: Verbal
EFFECT: Adds damage capacity to ancient weapons. Adds +1D4 rolls of 6 or 8 sided die (whichever is appropriate) to swords or blunt weapons. Adds +1D6 rolls of damage dice to knives. Adds +2D8 to chain weapons and doubles the damage of pole arms. This spell cannot be cast on magical, plasma, phase or vibro weapons. This spell can only be cast on a given weapon once. Said weapons are immune to weapon-breaker attacks (magical or otherwise)

SPAN
Dur: 20 minutes Range: 100+40 feet / level
Cost: 20 P.P.E. Comp: Verbal, Material (diamond worth at least 500 cr.)
EFFECT: Creates a bridge of mystic energy over barriers, traps or obstacles. Those using the span can walk/drive on it at even a 45° angle, allowing even a wall 50 feet tall to be passed over at level 1. The span can carry 600+200 pounds/level at once.

CARISTA'S CHANT
Dur: 1 hour / level Range: Self, and another by touch
Cost: 30 P.P.E. Comp: Material (powdered Dragon's tongue)
EFFECT: Caster, and one other person are imbued with the ability to speak to in an undecipherable dialect. The two recipients are the only ones who can understand the other when using the cant (can choose to speak in any other language known instead during the duration). Even the thought processes are scrambled, so that Tongues spells and Telepathy will still not translate the conversation. Note that someone else with their own Carista's Chant cast on them will still be unable to understand to understand the pair.

DORAIN'S DEVILISH DWOEMER
Dur: 10 min / level Range: 20 feet Cost: 30 P.P.E.
Comp: Verbal ('By the power of _________, I grant you power!), Gesture, Material (throw some sort of powder on target)
EFFECT: The target of the spell, unless he saves, believes that he is bestowed with 2 major super powers, and 3 minor powers (roll random, or caster chooses). In actual fact, the person has no such thing. He will see energy projections fire, and seem to hit; he will be convinced that his punches do supernatural damage, he'll see himself fly, etc. If the subject is about to do anything fatal to himself, he gets another saving throw. Otherwise when the spell ends, he will "feel" his powers leave him, and will still be convinced in his mind that he once had them.

BODY MOULDING
Dur: Permanent until dispelled Range: Self, or touch
Cost: 40 P.P.E. (self); 100 P.P.E. (other) Comp: Meditation (10 min), Mantra
EFFECT: The caster can alter his body, changing features, eye & hair colour, skin tone/texture, etc. He can also increase or decrease his size by up to 3 feet (±90 cm). Other possible uses include the elimination or creation of simple appendages such as horns, non-prehensile tails, ridges, etc. The change is only reversible by the caster, or negate magic. The altered person radiates an active magical dwoemer at all times.

ECTOPLASMIC FIST
Dur: 8 melees Range: Line of sight
Cost: 60 P.P.E. Comp: Verbal
EFFECT: Conjures a fist of ectoplasmic energy that flies under the caster's complete control. Maintaining it in combat reduces the attacks per melee by 2. The fist has 15 M.D.C. and does 5D4 M.D. on a hit. It flies 550 mph (880 km/h), and is +25 to dodge (i.e. in most cases dodges nearly anything but a critical without a roll. Each dodge requires an action). The fist has 10 attacks / melee. The fist does not open, and thus cannot lift anything.

MELD FLESH
Dur: 4 hours / level Range: Self or touch
Cost: 60 P.P.E. Comp: Verbal
EFFECT: Target of the spell can be melded into a larger object, completely concealing them, except for their aura. This spell can even be used to meld one person into a larger person. Target is magically provided with air, but cannot see outside the object he is melded with. Magic w/o gestures or material components, and psionics can still be used. The caster can end the spell at will. Once ended, the target "pops" harmlessly out of the object. The object must be bigger than the target, and even though the object's size doesn't change, it has the cumulative weight of itself plus the spell recipient.

EGG
Dur: 1 melee / level (+9 melees) Range: 15 feet
Cost: 60 P.P.E. (+10 P.P.E. to extend the egg's duration by 1 melee / level) Comp: Verbal, Material (powdered eggshell or calcium salt, thrown on target)
EFFECT: Target creature's size, HP & S.D.C. (or M.D.C.), and all attributes are reduced to 10% of normal, and the creature is encased in an indestructible egg. The egg will hatch in as many melees as the caster's level (spending extra P.P.E. will increase the egg's duration). Once hatched, the target will begin to grow, gaining back 10% of its original size, damage capacity and attributes each melee until back to normal (at the end of 9 melees after hatching).

FREEZE
Dur: 10+2 melees / level Range: 100 feet, line of sight
Cost: 10 P.P.E. on non-living targets, 70 P.P.E. on living targets Comp: Verbal
EFFECT: Reduces the temperature of any one substance to 20°C below its freezing point. Freezing most substances inside a living creature is instantly fatal.

MAGICAL BRAND
Dur: Permanent Range: Touch
Cost: 50 P.P.E. Comp: Gesture (draw the symbol, or write word with finger)
EFFECT: This spell places a magical brand on the person or object touched. It can be placed anywhere on the person or object that can be touched, and can be a single word or symbol. Only those of the same alignment as the caster can see the brand, and those that can see it, can read/understand it even if illiterate. Negate Magic and Remove Curse are the only things that can remove the brand.
SAVE: Standard if aware of the spell being cast

WEBSTORM
Dur: Storm-1 minute; Webs-permanent Range: 250 feet away, 10 foot area / lev
Cost: 75 P.P.E. Comp: Material (spiderweb)
EFFECT: A swirling wind filled with sticky filaments forms in the area desired by caster. The filaments will stick to anything they touch, and to each other. Targets within the area effect will quickly become completely wrapped in filaments (if they lie prone, the filaments can't wrap all the way around them). After the storm, the filaments begin to dry and shrink. S.D.C. creatures and structures will be suffocated and crushed within 10 minutes (take 1D4 damage 4 melees after storm stops. The damage is doubled every melee after that until the target is crushed). Water will totally dissolve the filaments. M.D.C. creatures will suffocate in a half hour.
SAVE: None, Dodge (natural 18-20) to lie prone so not crushed

MOTOR CONTROL
Dur: 1 melee / level Range: 120 feet
Cost: 80 P.P.E. Comp: Material (Juju doll of victim, and a personal token)
EFFECT: The caster takes over the motor control of the target. No innate powers of the victim can be used, only the motion of the victim's body is controlled. Each action/attack the victim is made to do takes up one of the caster's actions that melee. If the caster doesn't control the victim during any particular melee round, he can act on his own until a new action is ordered. Forcing the victim to attack means that he gets natural roll - 3 for all attack actions.

SOUL EXCHANGE
Dur: Permanent until reversed Range: 50 feet
Cost: 120 P.P.E. Comp: Verbal (2 melee chant), Material (a flawed quartz crystal)
EFFECT: Caster and target exchange bodies. Each can use the natural abilities of the other's body, but knowledge-based abilities (i.e. magic) are unavailable. Psionics can be used if the new resident of the body is familiar with them. Each character keeps his own I.Q., M.E. & M.A., but all other attributes remain that of the new body. The caster can reverse the spell at will, no matter how far the target is from him. Note: when in another body, only its P.P.E. is available.
SAVE: Standard +5 if unwilling

PROVIDENCE
Dur: Instantaneous Range: Touch
Cost: 148 P.P.E. Comp: Verbal, Material (bloodmoss)
EFFECT: This is a random spell. If the target fails to save, then there is a 1:20 chance they will be bestowed with a WISH. Roll D20 and compare the results with the table below. (curses are as if they were cast by a spell caster 2 levels higher)

SPRITE

EFFECT: Conjures a fighter elemental, who works as a self-sacrificing bodyguard for the caster until destroyed or dispelled. If it ever leaves the caster's line of sight, it is dispelled. The sprite is 4 feet tall,100 pounds (1.2 m, 45 kg), has 300 M.D.C. (regenerates 50 M.D.C. / melee). Other than that, its appearance is up to the caster. It has 6 attacks / melee, +15 to parry, +1 to strike, and its claws do 2D6 M.D.
SAVE: Not applicable

METALIZE
Dur: 1D4x6 hours / level Range: Touch
Cost: 200 P.P.E. Comp: Material (bit of desired metal)
EFFECT: Turns a living victim into solid metal. The victim is still alive, but in suspended animation. The S.D.C./M.D.C. of the statue is dependant on what metal victim is turned into. It must be a metal that is solid at normal room temperature. Destroying or melting the statue will kill the victim. Non-supernatural M.D.C. beings are +4 to save; Supernatural beings are +7 to save. At the end of the duration, the victim returns to normal, except for any significant damage done to the statue (i.e. loss of a limb). Mineral-based life-forms are immune to this spell.

CRYSALIS
Dur: 24 hours Range: Touch
Cost: 400 P.P.E. Comp: Verbal (2 min chant), Material (wings of a moth or butterfly)
EFFECT: This spell encases the subject in a resin-like casing with 400 M.D.C. The chrysalis lasts for 24 hours unless destroyed before then. If the chrysalis lasts for the full 24 hours, the subject emerges, awakened from a healing trance which restores all HP and S.D.C./M.D.C., P.P.E., I.S.P. and Chi. It also regrows lost limbs, heals all non-magical diseases and lifts all curses. The Chrysalis will survive a vacuum.

CRYSTAL OF SARGOTH
Dur: Until Destroyed Range: 30 feet
Cost: 400 P.P.E. Comp: Verbal
EFFECT: Imbeds victim in solid crystal. Victim must save vs. suspended animation (16+, plus P.E. bonuses). If the save is made, then the victim is not in suspended animation, and can try to break free. However, he will suffocate (dizzy in 4 melees, unconscious in 5 minutes, dead in 8 minutes). The crystal has 50 M.D.C. per level of caster. When broken, the victim awakes from suspended animation. The caster cannot reverse the spell; the crystal must be broken.
SAVE: Standard, then save vs. suspended animation
