DUAL GRCH PR Dark Blue Delta Dash
I bought Dash from Jack Fields when he was eight months old. Dash was out of PR Williams Tenn. Hawk JR.(Uchtmans Southern Blue Hawk and Uchtmans Blue Bell) Dash`s dam was PR Dark Blue Colorado Daisy. Dash was a super nice hound that could tree a lay up with the best. Dash produced alot of good hounds. Dash was also the grandsire to Jet 6. Dash crossed best on total out-crosses. Dash was a true pleasure to hunt.
I started Dark Blue Kennels many years ago. I have always tried to better the breed with each cross. Not all crosses worked and that is where culling is a major factor in a successful breeding program. A perfect example of this is Alan Bridges`Gr CH NT CH Dark Blue Screamin` ScrewDriver which I hunted and bred for over a year. I realized that ScrewDriver was not going to help the Bluetick breed which is why I took him out of my program and suggested for Alan Bridges to do the same, even though he produced a Quadruple Grand Champion out of my Dark Blue Brandy II female which are where his titles came from.
I breed for brains, track speed, and stay put tree dogs, that sound like a hound.
I gave Alan Bridges the oportunity to own and operate Dark Blue Kennels No 2. Alan lives in Lincolnton, Ga. and most of Alan`s hounds came from my foundation stock. I sold Alan half interest in CH NITECH PR McGinnis Big Blue Jake. We don`t have alot of pups out of Jake, but from what I can see, he is going to be a good reproducer. Look for Dark Blue Kennels add in the Coon Hound Bloodlines magazine. Thanks for all the compliments on my hounds.
