Welcome to Version Pointless Music Codes, a place where normally hard to find rock music codes can be found. Available to you are bands such as: Placebo, Rasputina, Marilyn Manson, AFI, Nine Inch Nails, Mindless Self Indulgence, & various others. I've gotten the files from CD's that I have purchased, and various websites that have .ram, .asx, and .mp3 files available. If you don't see a song up here that you desperately want, please submit your request at: [email protected]. Please, and I cannot stress this enough, be sure to put the artist and song title in the subject line, "song request", or something very similar. Otherwise I'll probably delete it thinking it was spam... Enjoy & come back soon!

The site is on a HIATUS. Which means: No more requests please. I am currently unable to have internet access on my personal computer, which means I can't upload the songs from my computer to a server so I can link it in the code so the music can play. This is unfortunate, but I am working on the problem :). When I DO return (which I will) the way I accept requests will be through a submit form filled out on the site and sent to me via email. This was the decision that was reached via the poll I had up and won with a 54% winning vote. So, thank you to all who voted :)... In the meantime, I need to fix the CSS and HTML in the web layout...

I am dreadfully sorry to anyone who finds this an inconvenience. Believe me, no one finds this more of an inconvenience than I do, so this problem will be solved as soon as I possibly can. Thank you for your patience and understanding, I hope to see more of you guys soon :).

I've changed the look for most of the artist pages and will be finishing the rest today. I've already re-uploadded most of the songs that were listed as missing in the last update, I just now have to go back and edit the codes. Also, that Pixies song WILL be put up sometime today. I promise. And I'll try to get the Billy Idol one up too...

A mini poll will be added to the side navigation as I'm thinking about adding something to the site that would make requesting easier for everyone, but I'm not sure what...

As you can plainly see, there is a new website layout in place. It will probably take another day to change all the other pages and get them in working order, so until then, all the Artists pages will remain the same. I also won't be able to get to any requests right away. I do however have 99% of requests on my computer, I am just looking for a place to upload them. After that, it should only take a manner of minutes before you're requests are up...

Also, a bit of rather important news to report... I recently deleted an old AOL account where a few songs were being hosted, so I will have to reupload them to my new one. Until then (probably tomorrow), the following songs are temporarily "out of order":

I am very sorry for any inconvenience this may pose to anyone, but I am working on the problem...

WOW! Has it ever been a long time...
Well, I've had a few requests lately, and just to let you know, NO I'm not ignoring you dear requestors. These things just take a little time to acquire occassionally. The request for Green Day will be filled soon, and if I don't send you an email, it will be on the site. Same goes for the request for Aqua and The Murderdolls. Believe me, I'm getting to it. Sometimes though, real life happens and keeps you busy and away from the computer. I WILL GET TO YOU ALL. Just chill....
A new layout is definitely coming soon, I can promise you that. I am getting incredibly sick and tired of this cherry layout. And this new layout might just have a splash page. Why? Because I want one and it's an execuse to have another pretty image showing off ^_^. Anyway, the newest updates are:

I'm working on the Pat Benatar request... I've also moved the Trash Palace song featuring Brian Molko under the S-U category, as makes more sense. There are now three new codes up:

HIM - Join Me
Bjork - Aurora

So, enjoy them :). I'm also in the process of adding a small and simple menu at the bottom, or the top, of every page for easier navigation for everyone. I am planning on adding a Placebo code soon, but not before their release of their new singles collection. It just wouldn't feel right to me otherwise. So, you can definitely look forward to that, along with any other updates I feel like adding in the future. Enjoy!

Alrighty, I had finished the Cranberries request, but then Tripod got rid of my account, so I had to get a new one on Angelfire. I don't think I have that song anymore on my own computer, so if I were to do it again, I would have to re-download it. I don't know if I'm going to do that, as I have a very limited amount of computer space as it is, but I might. The person didn't even say thank you. Hmph!... I had another request, but the title of the song is incredibly offensive, and by some rap group from the 90's I've never even heard of. Still deciding whether or not to waste space on that, because I do reserve that right. I can refuse to do a music code if it can't be found, if you are extremely rude to me, if I don't feel like wasting the room on my computer with it, or for any other valid reason. I might search for it, maybe download it, listen to it, and then decide whether or not to use it..... Anywho, a Bjork song can be looked forward to in the next big update, but not one off of her new album. Maybe some other stuff too.... And I'll be removing the song on here because it takes too long for the page to load on slower connections. I'm thinking of you lovely people!.... Byes for now!
