Summon Materia
Summon materia is the most powerful materia in the game. When used, it unleashes devastating effects. Summon materia can only be used once in a battle for every AP level it has, to a maximum of five times. Below is a list of Summon Materia available in FF7. Summons attack all enemies and pairing them with "all" materia is pointless. They are best paired with Elemental, Final Attack or MPTurbo Materia.
Choco/Mog:                      AP Levels: *****
Spell Name: Deathblow!/ Fat Chocobo
Spell Type: Wind (Sometimes causes stop)
When summoned, Mog comes riding out on the back of Choco the Chocobo, and runs into enemies, dealing wind damage and sometimes causing stop to the enemy. Occasionally, when you summon Choco/Mog, a fat Chocobo will fall from the sky and deal greater wind damage to the nemies, and sometimes cause stop. Recieved at the chocobo Ranch. Talk to the chocobo by the fence and reply by saying the same thing the chocobo said. The chocobos will then dance and give you Choco/Mog Materia.

Shiva:                              AP Levels: *****
Spell Name: Diamond Dust
Spell Type: Ice
When sumoned, Shiva will appear and use her powers to encase your enemy in a cage of ice. Effective against Fire-type enemies. After you save the little girl in Junon from drowning, rest at the old woman's house and after  you wake up go into the house with the stairs leading to her room. She will come out and give you Shiva.

Ifrit:                                AP Levels: *****
Spell Name: Hellfire
Spell Type: Fire
When summoned, Ifrit will come out of the ground and burn your enemies in a trail of flames. Effective against Ice-type enemies. After you defeat Jenove on the Ship, do not leave the room. Instead, go back to where you fought and pick up Ifrit materia.

Ramuh:                           AP Levels: *****
Spell Name: Judgement Bolt
Spell Type: Lightning
When summoned, Ramuh will arise on a large rock and attack your enemies with a deadly bolt of lightning. Effective against Water-type enemies. You get Ramuh in the Jockey room at  Gold Saucer, just before the Chocobo Race. Pick it up in the corner.

Titan:                             AP Levels: *****
Spell Name: Anger of the Land
Spell Type: Earth
When summoned, the mighty beast Titan will rise up from the ground, and lift up a chunk of land where your enemies are. Not effective against flying enemies or enemies with "float" cast. You get Titan in the Gongaga reactor. Scarlet will check part of the reactor and then leave. Check where Scarlet was. You'll get an option to reach for something. Say yes and you'll get Titan.

Odin:                             AP Levels: *****
Spell Name: Steel Bladed Sword or Gunge Lance
Spell Type: Non-Elemental
When Summoned, Odin will appear on his six-legged horse and slice your enemies with his sword, instantly killing them. Some enemies are immune to this effect. If those enemies are present, then Gunge Lance will be used, in which he jumps off his rock and throws his spear into the air, which fall down on the heads of your enemies. Gunge Lance is always used against bosses. Find Odin in the Safe in the Nibelheim Mansion. You must defeat the boss first. For help see Boss Tactics. The combination is 36-10-56-97. You ahve 10 seconds to enter the combo.

Leviathan:                    AP Levels: *****
Spell Name: Tidal Wave
Spell Type: Water
When summoned, Leviathan will appear and wash away your foes with a massive Tidal Wave. You get Leviathan in Wutai, after you conquer the Pagoda with Yuffie, her father will give it to you.

Bahamut:                    AP Levels: *****
Spell Name: Mega Flare
Spell Type: Non-Elemental (unblockable)
When summoned, Bahamut will appear out of a vortex and attack your enemies with a huge flare. You get Bahamut in the Temple of the Ancients. Talk to Sephiroth in the room with markings, and then you will fight a Red Dragon. After you kill it you will recieve the Bahamut Materia. Make sure you put it on 'cause you gotta fight a wall after that.

Kjata:                         AP Levels: *****
Spell Name: Tetra Disaster
Spell Type: Fire/Ice/Lightning/Earth
When summoned, a large pig-like thing will attack the enemy with a series of fire/ice/lightning and earth attacks. If the enemy is weak agaisnt one or all of the elements it will take the damage of that element. However, if the enemy abosrbs one or more of those elements, then there's a good chance that the enemy will absorb the attack. You get Kjata in the sleeping forest. It's easier if you do not have the Earht Harp. Keep chasing the materia until you catch it.

Alexander:                 AP Levels: *****
Spell Name: Judgement
Spell Type: Holy
When summoned, Alexander will rise up and attack your enemies with a beam of holy energy. He's a big robot guy that in ff8 gets a lot of guns and stuff. Alexander is hard to find. First, get the map off the wall in the old man's house in Icecicle Village. Use the snowboard to get dow the hill. Your location when you land is random, but when you land, use the map and go to the springs. It looks like 2 lakes separated by a road on the map. When you reach it, walk towards the left lake. You will get a dialogue screen with the option of touching the water. Choose to touch the water. Now you have to find a cave with a woman in it. It can take a while to find. When you find it, talk to the woman. She hates the springs and will turn into a Snow Witch. You can steal the "Circlet" Accessory from her, and when you're done the battle, you'll get Alexander.

Neo Bahamut:           AP Levels: *****
Spell Name: Giga Flare
Spell Type: Non-Elemental (Unblockable)
When summoned, black lighting will surround your opponents, lifting a chink of land into the sky, where Neo Bahamut blasts the enemy with his Giga Flare. You get Neo Bahamut in the Whirlwind Maze. After you climb Gaea's Cliff and finish the caves you will come to the cliff that is leading toward the Northern Crater. Near the save point is a red materia. Pick it up, as it is Neo Bahamut.

Pheonix:                    AP Levels: *****
Spell Name: Pheonix Flame
Spell Type: Fire
When summoned, a goldne ball falls on the ground and Pheonix arises. He then attacks the enemy with a fire attack that's about as strong as Fire2. At the same time, Pheonix will revive all your fallen allies. You get Pheonix at Fort Condor on Disc 2. After you save the reactor go outside and inspect the egg. You will get Pheonix.

Hades:                      AP Levels: *****
Spell Name: Black Cauldron
Spell Type: Non-Elemental
When summoned, Hades will appear, and mix up a potion. Then he will attack the enemy dealing non-elemental damage, and at the same time alter the enemy's status. Some status effects include Stop, Poison, etc. Get Hades in the Cargo Hold of the Gelnika Cargo Plane.

Typoon:                   AP Levels: *****
Spell Name: Disintigration
Spell Type: Wind
When summoned, Typoon will appear and blow the enemies away with it's foul breath. If they had Listerine, then Typoon wouldn't exist, probably. Get Typoon in the Ancient Forest. When in the forest, use the tongue plants to reach teh tree tops. Typoon is up there somewhere.

Bahamut ZERO:     AP Levels: ****
Spell Name: Terra Flare
Spell Type: Non-Elemental (unblockable)
When summoned, Bahamut ZERO will appear in space and fire a huge beam at the enemy on Earth. Get Bahamut ZERO by taking the Huge materia out of the container on the Rocket. The code is Circle-Square-Cross-Cross. You must have Bahamut and NEo bahamut to get Bahamut ZERO. When the Huge Materias are in Bugenhagen's Lab, talk to the blue one and you will get Bahamut ZERO.

Knights of Round   AP Levels: *****
Spell Name: Ultimate End
Spell Type: Fire/Ice/Lightning/Earth (maybe earth)/ Non-elemental
When summoned, your enemy will be sent to a different dimension, where they will be attacked by the knights of thr round table (all 12 of em) and finally King Arthur. Each attack deals 3000-9999 depending on the caster's magic power. To get Knights of Round (KOR), you must first have a Gold Chocobo. (Seet the breeding guide or defeat Ruby Weapon) After you have a gold chocobo, go to the island in the top-right corner of the map (the island is not shown on the map). You will find a cave with a red light. Go to the center of the light and pick up KOR.
