My Character:
Dariyan Celebfin Thoronhen
Dariyan left court and travelled east, passing through many lands and finally settling in a freshly-formed town called Elendar, joining the council. (Note: This was a Yahoo! Club,  fallen into some disrepair after three years or so, I left about two years ago) The other council members were Lord Demonchild, sorcerous creator of the buildings and Lady Tyrsol (supposedly scion of Avalon)  The greatest tavern I have ever seen was there; the Emerald Mug, barman Tenuch Gil-Ravady. I miss that place a lot. A long time later after many interesting adventures in Elendar - that little town was never quiet for long - Avon suddenly turned up. He asked Tenuch if she had been through Elendar and tried to cover up why he was asking, then she walked in as usual. Dariyan thought he was there on behalf of her father to drag her back to court and they had a shouting match, ending with her storming out saying she had a headache and was going home to her ekele in the forest. Hawkeye ghosted into the Tavern in the middle of the fight and stood in front of her. Avon, having the ability to Mind-speak with animals, had a quick chat with him, and the wolf betrayed her inner confusion. Avon took up lodgings above the Tavern and waited her out, entertaining with his lute in the evenings for the Tavern-comers. When she finally got up the courage to come to the Tavern again, it was nearly full moon, and Avon had taken his lute and gone out for a stroll in the forest in the moonlight. (pic)  Dariyan appeared cautiously in the Tavern and found him not there, thinking he'd gone back to Eneldore. She ordered a drink with outward relief. However, staring at the bottom of her sixth mug of strong mead, she dimly realised something was wrong, and went out for a stroll to try and clear her head.
After a while it dawned on her that she was hearing music so she followed it.  Then follows a soppy sort of interlude (that I found very annoying to type as I recall, but there was no telling THEM that...) ending ultimately in the departure of them both back for Eneldore.
About Avon, etc.

That ends the part I have full knowledge of and begins the parts I have only glimpsed in the scrying mirrors of my mind (interesting metaphor, that)
Dariyan went back to court with Avon, had a little girl Elemmire (star-jewel) Avon's duties as advisor and court Mage and tutor held him there. But Dariyan's wandering tendencies and court claustrophobia soon surfaced. For the sake of the man she loved with an almost unbearable passion and then also for the sake of her child she held it in and suffered for a double hand of years. Until she could stand it no more and left, gaining permission from the bright three-year-old Elemmire and scarpering.
She came back to Avon and Elem after a few months and stood it for another pair of years before leaving again.
She met Carnimirie on this trip, meeting him on the road and discovering he had some miruvor; her favourite drink, but hard to get; there was an incident in a dwarf village attacked by demons, and they decided to team up for a while.
She visited again for a brief three months in Spring just over a year later, when again she could not resist Avon's call (it must be that damned lute)
The following spring, she birthed Gwaeronlir, and continued travelling with the toddler. They travelled with Carn for a while, then Dariyan took Gwaer to meet his father. Gwaer was the spitting image of Avon, magical talents included, so there could be no mistake about who the father was. Dariyan refused to even see Avon. She left with Gwaer shortly, and travelled around again. The boy had got a harp from somewhere and was trying to learn it, although out of earshot of his mother or risk her bursting into tears and being withdrawn for days or weeks. He found a hawk fledgeling being attacked by an eagle and rescued it, taming it. After a while Gwaer asked Dariyan if he could go and live with his father and learn - oh, everything, magic and music and - oh dear, don't cry, Mother... So she took him back to Eneldore. She didn't even go in the door this time, just spent the afternoon by the lake with Gwaer and Elem and left that night.
Dariyan travelled for a while with Carn, who gave her a letter to give to his friend  (half-brother) River (Duinlantar) last seen somewhere round Mordavia...
