Welcome to....
.....an obituary
(snide remarks in brown are strictly the opinion of the creator of this website and are meant to reflect badly upon the owners of the ranch)
The ad we used to run:
Horse Boarding, Alexandria Ohio
We don't claim to be fancy or special, we don't try to compete with the "big boys" or keep up with the latest trend. But what we do offer is quality, individualized care for your horse in as natural an environment as possible.
(....well, we USED to anyway....Sorry, some idiot decided horses cost too much, and traded 'em in on a bunch of stinkin', spittin' alpacas. Nope, no boarding here anymore)
We USED to have:
Daily turnout

120+ acres of pastures and riding trails

10x12 stalls (average)

Down-to-earth, laid-back atmosphere

Easy access from Columbus, Newark, Pataskala, Johnstown
Sadly, most of the horses in these pictures were sold for slaughter
after the owner of the farm decided that horses are worthless.
I still cry for Herbie, Sunny, Ellie, KC and Snowfire.
Can you imagine wasting all this on ALPACAS?? Alpacas. What a friggin' waste.
$135/ mo. full board

N
o extra charge for blanketing

10% sweet feed,
orchard grass hay

no extra charge for adding supplements for individual horses
(you supply your own supplements)

"Special needs" horses welcome
The dark bay is Gidget, she's mine and she lives. (see her pics)
But poor Sunny was a victim of the new regime.
Sorry, we don't currently have an arena, but there are working
plans for two outdoor turf arenas and a 60-ft round pen.
(Yep, I was working on it, but I'll be danged if I leave it behind for the damn alpacas)
Barely a month before he decided to kill his horses in favor of alpacas, the dearly beloved farm owner put up his own website advertising his boarding facility. It was infuriatingly incorrect, so poorly put together it made your eyes hurt to look at it, and so full of pure CRAP it forced me as farm manager to write a letter of protest to my boss, aforementioned moronic farm owner. The horrific website truly made one wonder what drugs he'd been taking when he made it, and ironically enough it was still running for nearly two years after the boarding facility was not. Thank GOD he finally took it down.

Feel free to  check out a few more pictures of the farm

Legal disclaimer: No alpacas or llamas were hurt in the making of this website. I'm pretty sure
they can't read this, so if nobody tells them about it, they won't be hurt at all.
