Denali - Our Puppy...Princess...the dog
She's our 1 yr 9 mnth old tri-colored australian shepard mix. We adopted her from our friend Lily's Mother. After my 3 week quest of finding the perfect dog...we adopted her in August of 2001.

Mocha - Our little brat...butthead...the cat
We adopted him back in March 2001. Darin's co-worker's friend was looking for a home for a beautiful cat. Darin just came home one day and asked if I wanted a cat..do I want a cat.. he knew that was a dumb question. So we went off to see this cat out in Ventura. And yup, it was a very beutiful cat. His co-worker said that it was also very "special". And once again "Yup". it is very special. I have never seen/heard/met a cat like this one. The best way to explain how Mocha is, is that he is a teenage brat. He constantly talks back to us, always gets into trouble, he does stuff he knows he is not suppose to do, etc, etc, etc, the list is endless. I'm sure we'll eventually have stories about his adventures in the what's new.

Moose - Our first fuzzy pet...the hamster
We got him/her (not sure yet) as a surprise from our friend Karren back in spring of 2000. Karren's hamster had 4 babies so, she was looking for a home for them. I, of course, wanted one but Darin didn't. So at first I told her nope, can't have one...but then one day, she just came over with the cage, food, the hamster. I was soooo happy. Darin thought I had something to do with this surprise, but really didn't know a thing. We named it "Moose".

Fishes - Our therapy
We currently have two 10 gallon tanks. In my tank with 2 Electric Yellow Ciclids and a algae eater is mine. The Ciclids are getting huge. The big on is proably about 5" to 6", the other one is a little smaller. I guess it's not huge if they were in a 40 gallon tank, but it get's crowded in a 10 gallon tank.
Darin's tank we have 5 new Red Eye Tetras, one Clown Loach and a Candy Strip Algae Eater. The Clown Loach or Shamu, is the oldest in the tank. He's the fun one to watch. Another "unique" pet. This one actually plays dead. I can't tell you how many times I thought he was dead and tried to scoop him up. He also use to bang the thermometer on the glass of the tank to get our attention for food. Strange pets.
