So dark and dismal
Sometimes satisfying
Sometimes destructive
How do yo keep a secret?
Do you hold it so incredibly close,
Close to your heart?
So that no one must ever know
Can you tell that one person
You trust them that much?
Oh but the secret is so vile
It can not be looked at with sanity
It tears apart your heart and soul
You can only hold on to the shredded ends
You can attempt to tie them back together
But since that one person knew
Now everyone knows
No harm was meant
Yet once again a world is destroyed
Are secrets worth so much pain?
No, I wish I'd kept it to myself
Then this would never have happened
