5. Edna Lula Edwards was born on 20 March 1896 in Middlebrook Ar. She died on 4 August 1974 in Corning, Ar. She met Ruben at a church social at Palastine when she was 14, she told her sister he was too old, but Ruben's laughing spirit soon won her over. they married that fall. Grandma Foster was very religous, her grandfather on both sides were preachers as was her Uncle A. B. Shaver well known Randolph County Church of Christ Preacher.       [Parents]
4.Rueben Elmer Foster was born on 5 Feb. 1886 in Jefferson City, Ill. He died on 17 July 1960 in Corning, Ar. Rueben Elmer Foster married Edna Lula Edwards on 29 Oct. 1910 in Success, Ar. Grandpa Foster came to Arkansas with his father when he was 14 and they came in a covered wagon stopping first at Doniphan in Ripley County, then traveling on to Success where they lived. My parents remeber him as always laughing, he never let things get him down, even during the depresion. Dad remebers he always provided for his family by hunting, fishing, and teaching his kids to help out.        [Parents]

6. Riley Samuel March was born on 5 Feb. 1903 in Green Co, Illinois. He married Ethel Mae Smith. Grandpa often spoke of his life in Carrollton, and logging with his brothers on the River. His older brother Arthur was a WWI Veteran. He can recall much of his married life, and Middlebrook, Maynard and Biggers where they lived durning the early years of their marriage.

7. Ethel Mae Smith was born on 4 Sep 1898. She died on 1 6 Jan 1957. She met her future husband while visiting with her sister and her beau. Riley and Rex Johnson {who married Ethel's sister Delia} were working on the Hite Farm at Maynard when Ethel and Delia stopped by, shortly after they met they married over the protest of Riley's father Horatio.
