| Horatio Arnold March Born 24 March 1857, Carrollton Greene County Illinios. He was the son of Rudolph March and Martha Ann Arnold. (Parents). He was raised in Greene County and raised horses as an occuption. On December 24 1885 he married Rachel Elizabeth Woods. Rachel Elizabeth Woods was born 15 December 1867 in Greene County Illinois, she was the daughter of George WashingtonWoods and Lucy Leona Adock. (Parents) Horatio and Rachel had nine children: 1. Ella M. who married Walter Evans, she moved to Cal. Family unknown. 2. Joseph Leander born 13 Feb 1887, he never married, when asked once he stated he ment to marry and his girl died. Her name unknown. 3. Lillie Agnes born 29 Sept. 1888, she married Fred Ward. 4. Arthur Earl born 31 August 1894, WWI Veteran who married Bessie Wade. 5. Emma Mrytle Arleene born 17 Sept. 1898, married Andrew Scroggins. 6. Hester born, 13 Oct. 1900 married Bradley Goodman. 7. Riley Samuel March, born, 5 Feb. 1903 married Ethel May Smith 8. Lawrence Otis, born 26 Jan. 1905 married Lilly Mae Lapiro. 9. Florence Elizabeth born, 20 May 1907. She married Charles Anderson, and Charles Phillips. |

| Allen William Smith born May 1864 Mo., is thought to be the son of William and Nancy Smith, (Parents) who came to Randolph County in 1860. Earlier where abouts unknown, older children were born KY. A W "Bill" Smith was raised in Middlebrook a neighbor of Caleb McMillion, and in 1897 married Emmaline Arminda McMillion. (Parents) They farmed around Middlebrook and Maynard Arkansas until Bill's death in 1912. They had four daughters: 1. Ethel May Smith born, 4 Sept. 1898 married Riley March. 2. Delia born March 1900, married Rex Johnson. 3. Elzetta born 1902 married Willie Barks. 4. Iva born 1904 who marreid Joe Melton. Photo is William and Emmaline with daughters. |
