| Caleb McMillion was born 27 Jan. 1850 Greene County Tn. He was the son of Isaac William and Julia Trails McMillion who moved to Perry County Illinios before 1860. (Parents) Caleb came to Randolph County sometime in 1870 with his father, or parents. He married Abejena Brooks Minton on the 17th November 1871. She was the widow of Joseph Minton and appears on the 1870 Census with him at age 16. She is probably the daughter of Joseph Brooks, but no proof has been added. Caleb and Abijena had one daughter: 1. Testina McMillion, born 8 Oct. 1870; married James Haly. After the death of his first wife. Caleb McMillion married Lucina Wright in Ripley County Mo. on 26, Aug. 1877. They were the parents of three children: 2. Ida Eldora born Aug. 1878; married Henry Haley, a brother to James. 3. Emmaline Arminta born, March 1880; married William Smith 4. William McMillion; married Verdie Seweall. Families Caleb married a third time to Susan Catherine Brooks, family rumor says she was related to one of his prev. wives, which one is unknown as Brooks is her married name and she had other children. |
