Basil Edward Foster married Rachel Armanda March on 5 Jan. 1946 in Randolph Co., Ar. His parents were Ruben Elmer Foster and Edna Lula Edwards. Basil was raised at Palatka and Success, and rembered his childhood as a happy one. He often talked of him and his brothers, unable to wait for the first snow fall to track rabbits. He claimed they ran them down and caught them barehanded. The wandered many dirt roads in Clay County. [Parents] |

3.Rachel Armanda March was born on 25 May 1926 in Maynard, Arkansas. Her parents are Riley S. March and Ethel May Smith. Her father Riley died at age 99, his sister Hester March Goodman turned 101 last October. Rachel grew up around both Randolph and Clay Counties, she met Basil when she was five. She remebers her grandma Wood as being part Indian and that her grandmother and her children all had long braided black hair. We are still searching the Wood, Adock, Stinnett line for her ancestors.
