We both lived and worked in San Francisco in 1980, a decade before we met. At the time, Jack lived on Russian Hill with Julian and worked at B. Dalton Bookstore downtown. Dar worked close by at the Wendy's of Fisherman's Wharf. In 1991 we returned here together and celebrated Halloween on Castro Street. We resided at the home of our friend Alan Klaum on Turk Street.

We have returned to the city often, usually staying in North Beach at the Washington Square Inn. For example, See comments in the summer '97 webpage.
