- Received and organized the materials prepared for the Bibliography by the late Mr. Peel and later left to the Library by his family.
- Converted entries from paper to electronic format by creating and formatting a customized ProCite database for the 6300+ annotated citations and author biographies that comprise the new edition.
- Reindexed citations by subject, using the Canadian Thesaurus.
- Other editorial duties as required.
1999-2000: Editorial/Research Associate, Pierre Ouvrard : Master Binder (U of A Press, 2000), Bruce Peel Special Collections Library, University of Alberta, Edmonton, Alberta.
- Compiled and formatted original bibliographic information for the catalogue.
- Created a customized ProCite database for the bibliographic records.
- Assisted with editing and proofreading of text and printer's proofs.
- Provided bibliographic information and editorial and proofreading services for the text of the Ouvrard collection exhibition brochure.

- Participated in the SLIS Practicum class by working at one of the participating libraries.
- Staffed the reference desk, assisting both Youth and Adult patrons.

2002: Continuing Education Committee Roundtable Discussion Planner and co-Facilitator, Florida Library Association Annual Conference, Daytona Beach, Florida.
- Along with Committee members, solicited ideas from FLA membership and planned roundtable sessions for the 2002 conference.
- With another facilitator, convened a Roundtable discussion on joint-use facilities, presenting my library's experience and answering participants' questions.
2000: Convenor and Program Planner, Canadian Library Association Annual Conference, Edmonton, Alberta.
- Active member of Canadian Association of College and University Libraries (CACUL) Program Planning Committee.
- Participated in developing a number of sessions for the June 2000 Canadian Library Association conference.
- Acted as convenor for one of the conference sessions, arranging for space and equipment, introducing the speakers and facilitating the presentation.
- Also wrote and edited for the CLA Today daily conference bulletin.

- Accepted as a volunteer through work in SLIS History of the Book class and interest in Special Collections/Preservation work.

- Interested in investigating the historical aspects of librarianship, including the history of the book.
- Have explored the way that information access and distribution may be affected by political and social contexts.
- Other interests include conservation and preservation methodology, as well as reading and learning theory.
