Chapter Ten: Kidnapped

The next morning, as everyone was having breakfast, the siren went off.
"Here we go again." sighed Max.
Rita rushed off to the computer room, followed by Donatello.
      Everyone else soon followed.

In there, everyone gathered near the computer.
"Where's Tirus and his army heading this time?" asked Fay.
"Dimension Vega12." said Rita. "This time I'm sure of it." she said more quietly.
"All right, let's do it." said Raph, grabbing a laser from the rack of charged lasers.
"Same crew of 6?" asked Donny.
"With a minor adjustment." said Max.
    "What's that?" asked Lavia.
"Cori and Mikey stay, Venus and Leo go." said Max.
"What?! But I can't fly that thing too well." said Leo.
"Well then learn. We'll have no dead weight around here, that includes you two." said Max.
Leo was about to say something when Venus pushed him. "Let us just go." she said.
    Leo sighed.

In the ships hangar, everyone got in a ship, and flew out to the dimension.
"How do you change speeds again?" asked Venus as the vortex opened.
"There's a keypad on your dashboard under the title 'Velocity. Just press 9." said Fay.
"Okay, thanks." said Venus as she did so.
They all sped through the vortex, and into the next dimension.

      There, everything was very quiet.
"What? No civilization?" asked Donny as he looked down.
"You're all probably in just a quiet part of town, don't worry about it too much." said Rita over the communicators.
"So where's Tirus and his dudes?" asked Raph.
"Hm . . . this is very interesting. It seems as if Tirus has left his army scattered about the dimension. There's some sort of structure about 5 miles south from there." said Max.
"Got it." said Lavia as she set her speed a little higher, and went flying off.

Everyone else followed, and they all ended up in a completely desolate area that had no signs of life anywhere. There was a huge structure with broken mechanical parts, destroyed ships, and gaping holes in it as if it had been blown to bits decades ago.
     "Whoa, what
is this?" wondered Fay out loud.
     "Max, you've
gotta see this." said Lavia.
"Put me on the view cam then." said Max.
"No prob." said Lavia. She then pushed a button on her control panel, and a little door opened, allowing a small circular device to emerge. Lavia picked it up, pressed a button on it, then pointed it towards the front window of her ship. "Are you seeing this?" she asked.
"Very clearly." said Max, his voice sounding disbelieving of what he saw.
     "What happened here?" asked Donny.
"It seems as if it's an abandoned structure that was destroyed years ago." said Max.
     "By whom?" asked Leonardo.
"I bet it was that Tirus guy." said Raph.
"I think you're right. It does look like Tirus' handywork." said Max.
"But the question is, why did he just destroy this structure, and then leave the dimension as it is and not take over it?" asked Donny.
"Questions like that require investigation. Land andf find out." said Rita.
     "Capital idea." said Donny.
They all soon landed their ships around the area, and got out to walk around.
"Something about this place seems really familiar." said Lavia.
"I know what you mean. It's like we've been here before." said Fay.
They walked around the structure, and went into a large hole in one side.

Inside, there were metal floors, shattered pieces of glass, and sand that had been blown in from the outside.
"Creepy." said Venus as she looked around.
They all walked into the next room where there were computer controls. They were all smashed and torn apart. Wires stuck out everywhere, and the ones that were made entirely of metal had rusted to the point of falling apart.
Donny found a small, rectangular metal device on the floor and picked it up. "What have we here?" he asked to himself as he picked it up. "Hey everyone, come look at this." he said
     They all came over.
     "What is it?" asked Raph.
"I don't know. It looks like some sort of video box. There's a little screen on it and everything." said Donny. Then he pressed a small red button on it. The picture on the screen was fuzzy with a lot of black and gray lines. Static poured through the minute speakers, but they could all discern a voice through the static, and could bearly identify a face on the screen.
"They've come." said the voice as she breathed hard. "I knew they would someday." Her voice sounded like she was shivering from fright, and breathing hard at the same time. Her face came in clearer as she video progressed. She was a very pale-skinned girl, about 17 years in age, with black hair that had red and blue streaks in it.
Fay and Lavia came in closer towards the screen as they stared more intently at it.
The sound of explosions could be heard in the background as the screen shook, and the girl appeared to be huddled into a corner of a wall. Screaming could be heard in the background. "It's awful, I knew it, I just knew it." the girl shook as sweat appeared to roll down her entire face. "Their right outside the door, they're gonna kill us all. I knew I should've taken my life on the bridge that day. I knew it, I knew it!" She was reaching a panicking stage. "This is my last diary entry, this is it. Tirus is here, and we're all gonna die. We know the secret." the girl began crying, her bloodshot eyes becoming even more red. She suddenly dropped the device, and two briefly visible faces could be seen. These faces shocked Lavia and Fay.
The video stopped, and the picture faded out as screams, hollers, the sound of clashing armor, and growling could be heard. The device then shut off.
Lavia and Fay stared at the device for a moment, then glanced at each other. Lavia ran to one wall, and quickly began rubbing dust and sand particles off of it.
"What are you doing?" asked Leo.
Lavia wouldn't answer, she just kept rubbing.
Fay went to the other side of the room.
Lavia finished rubbing, and gasped as she stood back from the wall.
Everyone looked over and saw a large flower scratched into the metal of the wall.
"What is the matter Lavia? Why does this image bother you so?" asked Venus.
"It's, it's the flower that I drew on the wall of HQ when I was 11. It's on the wall of Floor 7 opposite the computers." said Lavia.
Donny's eyes widened a bit; this discovery was very significant to the history of this place.
       "Look!" shouted Fay.
The group rushed over to Fay, who hadfound a most startling site on the wall. There was a large "T" drawn on the wall with blood. The blood was dry now, but the drip marks were still present.
"What the heck is this place?" asked Raph, getting freaked out by all of their discoveries.
"Don't you see, the flower, the mention of Tirus . . . it's HQ.
Our, HQ." said Lavia, trying to believe her own words.
"But how could it be? We've never met that girl on the video before." said Leo.
"That's because in our dimension she decided to kill herself on this bridge before we got to making HQ. That's our old friend, Cleo. And those two faces that we saw were me, and Lavia when we were real young." said Fay.
The group was more than shocked now, as well as scared.
"Tirus must've known about your HQ in this dimension." said Donny.
"They were our dimensional doubles." said Lavia.
"The dimensional rule." said Max, who had been listening to the whole conversation from the communicator that Raph had on him.
     "The
what rule?" asked Raph.
"The dimensional rule. Each being much have at least one double in an alternate dimension. My . . . dad learned that through his studies." said Max, pained by mentioning his father.
"I think you all should come back, I'm getting worried." said Rita.
Suddenly, they heard a noise outside.
       "What was that?" asked Fay.
"It's probably just falling debris. This place doesn't look too stable." said Donny as he looked around. "I agree with Rita though, we better go."
        "Yeah." agreed Leo

As they all turned to exit the structure, they saw a mutant Turtle standing there, right near Leo, who didn't even notice him approach them. The Turtle had on a camouflage-print bandanna, and was quite large for a mutant Turtle. He had little spikes on his shell, and larger ones on the edges of it. His eyes were very dark. He just stood there eyeing them all.
      Lavia and Fay shrieked.
Leo jumped for a moment, then looked at the Turtle. "Oh, heh, hi." he said.
"Leo, uh, I think you should come over here now." said Lavia.
"Relax guys, he's a mutant like us, so we're all on the same side." said Leo to the others.
"Not necessarily." the Turtle said darkly as he took a large wooden beam and knocked Leo upside the head with it.
Leo quickly fell to the ground, nearing unconciousness.
      "Leo!" shouted Venus.
The Turtle then looked towards the others, a sly smirk appearing across his face. "Hm, I expected more of a challenge." he said. He then picked up a piece of solid metal pole, and began walking towards the others. "Now, who wants to die first?"
Raph took out his sai. "Ain't no one on this side gonna be dyin', punk." he said.
"Oh, trying to sound tough are we? Well, that won't last." said the Turtle. Once he reached Raph, he nailed him hard in the stomach with the pole. But Raph was able to slash the Turtle acorss the arm, leaving a deep, bleeding gash.
The Turtle looked at his arm for a moment, and wiped the blood with his hand. "It's been a long time since I've seen my own blood spilled." he said, then he narrowed his eyes as he looked at Raph. "I don't like to bleed."
Raph had almost recovered from the blow to the stomach. "Too bad." he retorted.
The Turtle pulled his fist back, and punched Raph hard in the face.
Raph returned the punch, but it didn't have a big effect on the tough-skinned Turtle.
Venus ran over to Leo as he laid on the ground.
"Leo, Leo, wake up." she said as she kept hitting his face.
Leo groaned a little as he slightly turned his head.
Donny took out his bo staff and smacked the Turtle over the head with it.
But this only made the Turtle angrier, and he got off of Raph, who was taking quite a beating, and went after Donny.
       "Run Don, run!" shouted Fay.
The Turtle punched Donny in the face with a force that no dragon or foot soldier possessed. Donny was knocked down flat on his shell, and the Turtle began beating on him mercilessly.
       "Guys, help!" he shouted.
Lavia and Fay took out their lasers and began firing at the Turtle, who's shell seemed to be coated with some sort of metal.
Lavia fired at the spot that Raph cut him at, and the wound's blood clot was destroyed, starting the bleeding again.
The Turtle cried out in pain as he turned away from Donny to clutch his bleeding arm. He looked at Lavia and Fay. "You two are next." he said as his eyes narrowed at them.
Suddenly, a beeping was heard coming from the Turtle. He looked at something on his belt, then looked up. "I'll be seeing you all again, and next time, there won't be any survivors." he said.
He then ran towards the exit.
      "Fire!" said Fay.
Lavia and Fay fired at him, but it was no use, all they could hit was his metal-coated shell.
Raph was in pain as he lied on the floor, and so was Donny.
Venus tried to awaken Leo, but she was getting no where.
As the Turtle was leaving, he looked at Venus for a moment, and smirked. He then picked up the same wooden beam he used to hit Leo, and whacked her over the head, knocking her unconcious.
       Fay and Lavia gasped.
The Turtle then picked Venus up.
"Hey! Leave her alone!" shouted Lavia as she pointed a laser at his neck.
"Ah ah ah." said the Turtle as he held a bigger laser to Venus' head. "One false move and she gets it." he said.
Lavia reluctantly put down her laser.
"Don't worry, you'll see me again." he said. Then he ran out the door saying, "This is only the beginning!"  as he left.
Lavia and Fay ran outside to see where he was going. They got outside just in time to see him leave in a black ship with a beast head on each side.
"That moron is working for Tirus!" exclaimed Lavia.
"Was there ever a doubt?" asked Fay.
Donny had managed to be able to get up, and came out of the structure and joined the girls. "And he's got Venus, which is bad news." he said, sounding worried.
"We better get back to HQ, and fast." said Lavia.
"We have to drag Leo out. I don't think he's going to wake up anytime soon." said Donny.
     "True." said Fay.
The three went inside, and helped Raph up. He was still in pain, but managed to be able to walk again. They then dragged Leo out of the structure, and put his limp body into his ship.
"What are we gonna do with him? He can't fly this ship." said Raph.
"No problem. Max made special additions to the ships for just such an occasion." said Donny.
     "Like what?" asked Fay.
      "Towing lines." said Donny.
"Cool, Max thinks of everything." said Lavia.
"Yeah, I guess. Let's just go." said Donny.
They all got into their ships, and started them up.
"What was all the racket? The communicators were breaking up, so I didn't hear anything said." said Max.
"Believe me Max, it's a lot." said Lavia.
"A whole lot." said Fay. Then she pressed a button on her control panel, and a long cord shot out from behind her ship. With the powerful magnet that it had at the ened, it latched onto Leo's ship. "Leo's ready for towing."
"Great." said Donny. Then he pressed a button on his control panel that latched onto Venus' empty ship. "Let's go." he said.
Lavia opened the vortex, and the ships sped through back to HQ.

Back at HQ, everyone docked their ships in the hangar, and dragged Leo up to the Control Room. There, they set him down on a chair, as he was very heavy.
     "Goodness! What happened?" asked Max.
"This bizzaro Turtle dude came out of nowhere and whacked Leo unconcious." said Raph.
     "And where's Venus?" asked Max.
     "He kidnapped her." said Fay.
"Oh no! That's awful!" said Max.
"But why would he take her?" asekd Rita.
     "Beats me." said Lavia.
"Still another mystery is why Tirus attacked and killed our dimensional doubles at their home dimension so long ago, and never us." said Max.
"We've got a lot of thinking to do." said Rita.
"But our top priority should be to get Leo awake again, and get Venus back." said Donny.
"Definitely. Come bring him to the medical room." said Rita as she stood up.
Donny and Raph dragged him into the next room.
In there, Leo was laid on a bed-like table where Rita checked for his vital signs. Raph left the room.
"Is he gonna be okay?" asked Donny.
Rita was quiet for a moment as she took the last readings. "Yes, he should be. The blow to his head was pretty hard." she said. Then she turned to Donny. "Are
you okay?" she asked.
"Yeah. That Turtle guy left a few bruises here and there, but nothing major." said Donny.
Rita smiled at him, and Donny smiled back.

In the Control Room, Max was looking at the interdimensional activity on the computer, which seemed to be at a standstill. His mind was extremely occupied, trying to think of a way to save Venus, why that Turtle guy kidnapped her, and why Tirus destroyed the dimensional alternates while they were so young.
Cori looked over at Raph and pulled one of his sai out of his belt.
       Raph looked at her.
"Where'd the blood come from?" asked Cori as she looked at the dried blood on the sai.
"Ya didn't think I'd leave that Turtle guy without a reminder that he messed with Raph, didja?" asked Raph.
Cori smirked. "Good goin." she said.
"This is like, sooo incredibly scary." said Shelley.
"Not to mention creepy." said Mikey.
Max wheeled around in his chair as Donny and Rita entered the room.
     Everyone looked at each other.
     "So now what?" asked Lavia.
"Well, we'll leave the mystery of our dimensional alternates to the side for now. We have to concentrate on saving Venus." said Max.
      "Agreed." said Fay and Lavia.
"But the thing is, going into Tirus' dimension will prove extremely dangerous. He's been very unpredictable as of late." said Rita.
"True." said Fay with a sigh.
"I think this is a trick." said Donny.
