September 12-14, 2003 - After hearing Brooke whine for a week about how we never visit her, Kevin and I dropped by for a weekend of parties. Justine let out a sonic scream upon seeing us, but apparently Gia received an even louder ear-wrenching welcome. Fauquier 2nd lower was partially reunited, as Bernie, Harlan, and Michael Stevens all attended the party. TBarb had a tough time letting Kevin leave. The following day was full of preparation from Jess and Elena for the Church Street party and Kevin and I helped by buying the wrong Quickstart logs. Lots of football was watched by the guys, but when Wheel of Fortune started, we were infiltrated. Chrissy cheered for a girl named Laura on Jeopardy, because the other girl's eyebrows were too bushy and because Andrew!'s tie didn't match his jacket. The Laura that we know reverted to her WM days by smashing an emtpy can on her head. Just like my shoes, the weekend wasn't that bad. Though she probably didn't plan it this way, beating Brooke at Dr. Mario again, being right about Brittrilogy, and beating her Minesweeper scores on her computer really did make the trip worth my while.
