Daniel Walter first came to Ghana in 1999, with a grant from the Canadian International Development Agency to undertake a project to strengthen the use of media, especially radio, for development. Soon afterwards he also began to photograph the people and culture of Ghana and West Africa.
Based out of Accra, he has traveled extensively throughout the region.
