With personal computers located in homes, schools, and workplaces across the country and around the world, as a result, a new generation of young employees is about to enter the place of work. My mission is to combine my education in Instructional Technology along with my work experiences as a news and creative/copy writer to facilitate learning in a technically rich educational environment. Some technical training programs will transpire at the work place. As a technical consultant, I will facilitate employees in learning new technical skills. With a commitment of support I plan to facilitate Higher Order Thinking Skills (HOTS) from a constructivist point of view to students, employees, and even entrepreneurs.
Listserves and emails are cost effective channels for communication and collaboration – both students and businesses will benefit greatly by these programs. Innovative programs such as Tapped-in can be utilized as a centralized meeting place for the purpose of expanding knowledge and skills for both educators and special interest groups. In the capacity of a facilitator I will encourage the use of such programs. On-the-job technical training programs are an on-going necessity for most companies and are highly in demand. As an educator, I plan to meet those demands.
