 At first, I was going to have the main character, Donovan (Van for short), wear a trench coat. Conceptually, he is a young adult, in his early twenties. So I opted to dress him down a bit. I will include a newer drawing when I do one so that you see what I mean. For now, the third picture is close enough. Rune is the main characters demon possessor. To understand how this works you're gonna have to buy the book. Another note: I have placed certain characteristics of my friends into these characters. Donovan is a representation of myself. 
Vaccord is a stranger to the modern era. He was frozen in a temporal realm for nearly 1,000 years before the main character, Donovan, rescued him. His ally is a demon named Ash (shown in the second picture). Ash's favorite guise is that of a medium sized crow (also shown in the second picture). Vaccord's character is modeled after my best friend Mike. (um, except for the long hair.) 
Grim is the typical baddie. A rogue demon that escaped from Hell to find a host body to possess. He found that in the body of Terra. Grim and Terra are one of the first encounters Donovan meets. 
These next two are the rough sketches of the main evil character Lilith. She is waiting in Hell for the moment when her power is full and her vessel on Earth is found. I'm not sure if she will be described exactly like these yet. I think for the second pic I was going for a Maleficent look. Sorry Disney. Lilith's character is based on my friend Yaima...which is probably going to be the name of the vessel on Earth. 
I drew these in my Financial Management class because it was better than listening to the teacher. They are concept sketches of one of the demons, who looks surprisingly like a young girl. Looks can be deceiving. In drawing the second picture I noticed that her head was going to be too high up for the rest of her body, so I gave up on that for now, just so I could have something to put in here. Heh. .:update:9.9.4:.third picture. 
I figured that there would be other threats that Hell could unleash. And so I came up with other minions, which I will place here. So far, all I have created are the Marionette Makers. I think I got this idea from a couple of sources. First, Inuyasha. One of the demons used her hair to control souless bodies. Secondly, any horror movie with some freaky little girls in it. I won't go into detail. That's for the book.
