There are lots of Pike in the area lakes and you can be the only one there. It will take a truck, four wheeler or jet boat to get to these areas. These fish are great eating and very agressive. They will atack just about anything thrown in the water. They can be fished for in summer or winter through the ice by snow machine.

This is my favorite fish to catch and eat. They are excellent backed, broiled, pan fried. They are a bony white fish similar to eat as halabut. They fight like a King Salmon and will atack bait in schools one after another. You can fish for these year round through the ice in winter and spring or from the shore or boat in the Summer. These fish can be purchased frozen whole year round. Common size is 5lb to 15lb but will reach a size of 50lbs and you can very likely hook one 20lb to 30lbs in a days fishing.
