Where's the beef?
I got your beef right here!
According to Miss Jen, on November 13, 2002, at 2300 hours, Emma is now a whopping 3 pounds 8.8 ounces!  WHOOPPIE!  (For you metric gomers, [er, uh, and people from Canada (no offense intended)], that means she is 1610 grams.)  She's up to 28 cc's of formula per feeding, ok, that means ALMOST one ounce (we know almost only counts in horseshoes,  handgrenades... and those pesky global thermal nuclear weapons...)  SOOOoooo, anywho...  Emma must keep progressing on her feeding, wheen down on her reliance for oxygen support (she is at a very low flow of forced air, and in an enriched environment of about 28% O2.)

Basically, Emma is doing pretty darn OK.  Her baby shower was this past weekend.  We would like to thank all of those who gave/sent gifts.  For those of you who made it, we loved having you there and appreciate the support and love you have given.  For those of you who could not make it, we look forward to seeing you sometime in the spring when Emma is able to be out and about town.

Heather and Brian deserve a great big thanks for getting the home they moved into only a week before ready for 40+ guests.  Debbie, Heather and Deb put on a great show, great food, etc...  Chancey's even supplied Jeannine's favorite...Mac. and Cheese a la Chancy.  That is all Jeannine ever eats there, much to the owner's (Greg) chagrin.  It was a big hit though!

Again, thank you to everyone in the NICU.  Even though Emma likes to poop on you, or your shoes, we still love you all!

Jeannine and Dan

PS:  Best wishes, and good luck, to Nick and Kerri & Karolyn and Rich.  We hope all works out for the best for you.
Please note the ring above on her diaper.

Everyone's favorite picture, the Prayer Puppy and the ring, is below.  So many people, "I have that Paryer Puppy and I know just how small she is!!!"

May I suggest going back to the first week of pictures for a size comparison?
