1925 Model T C-Cab Delivery
I bought this project here in town from a fella also named Dan, who is the original builder. I was introduced to him by my father's next door neighbor, and fellow hot rodder, Jim. Purchased in Nov of '03 for $2400, we drug it back in 4 truckloads. It was a certified basket case, not having been on pavement since around 1987 when it was dis-assembled to have another chassis made for it. I did get this 2nd cahssis aswell, whis has Jaguar IRS already on it. Below are pictures of it when it was last on teh road before I got it. These pics are all I got to go by as far as trying to re-assemble it. Not much to go on, but that gives me the oppertunity to make my changes! The body itself is handmade steel (no fiberglass) with the use of a '24 or'25 T closed car cowl. The roof is all wood with Vinyl top and it has three functional doors, one on each side and a larger rear door. The fenders that are pictured are 'glass as well as the grille shell. The running boards are handmade steel units wrapped in rubber.

I haven't really done too much more work to it from this picture's standpoint. I did pull the body and engine to clean up the chassis. As seen in a previous chassis pic, there was alot of excess reinforcing that i did remove and also removed the brake pedal assy to relocate more forward as I moved the body up about 2" from where it was. The body was set back down on the chassis and engine re-installed so i could get he pedal assy mounted and figure out places for other stuff on the chassis. And that's pretty much where I left off.
