| I have strongly survived from my previous challenges.� I am grateful for it, but I don't have any reason to celebrate because as wizards say, another challenge is on its way and I will face a new. | |||||||||||||||
| After graduation, I started to haunt a new job.� For the mean time, I joined the sales force of St. Peter Life Plan Securities, Inc.� But later on, I realized that I need a more stable job and hoping to get an office work.� So I decided to find my future in Manila. | |||||||||||||||
| Sister Margarette gave me a pocket money of one thousand three hundred pesos and a pocket book to read. Supposed to be, I'm going to travel by ship However unexpectedly, through the help of my school friends, and some relatives, I rode in a military Jet C130.� It was my first time to ride on a plane.� I first landed in Manila last July 31, 1991 and my 2nd degree grandmother Decta Bodiongan, who was with me on the jet, brought me with them at 1999 Singalong St., Malate, Metro Manila.� I also first meet Aunt Marilou Bodiongan, and she was very kind to me.� | |||||||||||||||
| Through the recommendation of my Aunt Marilou, I was accepted as an Accounting Clerk 1 at the Office of the President of the Philippines - Economic Support Fund Secretariat.� That time, the issue about US military basis was very hot.� Since our office is operating under the USAID fund, we were all requested to join the rally at the Rizal Park (Luneta) carrying streamers with markings "Yes to US bases". A month later, my rank was raised to Accounting Clerk II.� However, when President Fidel Ramos took over the presidency in the Philippines, our office was dissolved. | |||||||||||||||
| I also worked at Hapag-Lloyd Philippines for nine months as an Accounting Clerk, and then I transferred to Sta. Lucia East Department Store starting September 27, 1993, working as a Merchandising Clerk then promoted to the position of Merchandiser .� Since the company implemented new computerized system, I was transferred to Information Technology department to handle IT operations and holding the position of Information Resource Group Head, then later on promoted as Information Resource Supervisor until March 31, 2004. I resigned from Sta. Lucia and joined the group of business partners. We formed an IT company on April 3, 2004. Our company is Outsource Information and Communication Technologies, Inc. I served as the company's Vice President for Administration. On July 4, 2005, I was hired by HOSPECO Philippines, Inc, a subsidiary company of HOSPECO Australia LTD, who originated in HOSPECO USA since 1919. I represent the company as the President and I have given the full responsibilities to run the operation of HOSPECO business in the Philippines until at present. |
