It really was a dream come true.
There I was minding my own business when that reporter whos' mission is not journalistic excellence, but to harass me (yes Mel, that woman), appears and takes a photo. The article claims that I was dressed up for a good cause, but I had simply awoken that morning determined not to wear a Hawaiian shirt for once.
The winning entry from the Caption Competition:

Kids, now what's missing from this picture?
Clothes?
No Tim, it's not clothes.
A boat?
No Suzy, not a boat. Anyone else?
Ducks?
No Wayne, it's not ducks.
The Queen?
Good try Megan, but it's not her.
A crowd?
No Lucy, not a crowd.
Hmmmmmmmm.....................What then....?
What was that Neil? Yes Neil: Dignity.
This picture is lacking dignity.

Though not technically a caption, this entry really hits the spot. And I think I speak for all of me when I say "Congratulations" to Sam and his marathon caption-writing campaign. He beat the odds with sheer volume and just a touch of brilliance (but don't anyone tell him that). Sam, those Rasberry Sparkles and Strawberry Condoms are winging their way to you even as you gloat!

Danny looks neat.Open 7 Days
