Parent Contract Registration Registration must be completed prior to your child's first day. We cannot consider registration completed until we receive your deposit, first payment, a copy of your child's immunization records, a signed copy of the contract, and a signed copy of the registration form. Deposit A deposit of $200 for infants and $150 for toddlers is required at the time of registration. This deposit will hold your child's place for 2 weeks prior to when care is needed. This deposit will also ensure that contract is upheld for the duration of care. If the contract is not violated and a month's notice is given prior to permanent withdrawal of care then the deposit will be deducted from the last month's tuition. Payment Policies All regularly reoccurring monthly charges should be paid in cash or in the form of a money order on the 1st of each month. Any alternate payment schedule must be on paper and approved by both parties. If you are unable to obtain cash or a money order we will accept a personal check only if it is submitted 5 business days prior to your payment's due date. A fee of $30.00 will be charged for all checks returned due to non sufficient funds (NSF). If a second check is returned for NSF check, then all subsequent payments must be made in cash or as a money order.

Proof of qualification must be presented prior to registration. -Refunds and credits will not be issued for sick days, federal holidays, and/ or any vacations that are taken without providing ample notice. Please keep in mind that your monthly tuition is based on booked days, not actual attendance. Planned Absences and Vacations: If your child will not be present for care due to a planned vacation, a visiting family member, or otherwise please notify us one month in advance. We will hold your child's place for up to 10 days (2 business weeks) at 50% of the cost of your child's regular tuition. Unplanned Absences: Children who are ill should be kept home to protect the well being of the other children and my family (exception: common cold with no fever). If a child becomes ill while in care of Dani's Daycare arrangements need to be made for immediate pick up. Children will not be permitted to return until 48 hours after the symptoms have subsided. *As a courtesy, please notify the daycare, preferably prior to 8a.m., if your child will be absent. Our phones turn off at 7:00pm but the answering machine is available for messages after hours. Late Pick- Up's: If you are running late we ask that you call to notify us immediately. Please be aware that it is the parent's responsibly to ensure that their children are picked up no later than 6:00pm. If you are not able to pick up your child by 6:00pm then alternate arrangements should be made (written permission must be received before we release a child to anyone who is not authorized on the registration form.) A late fee of $10.00 per hour (or any portion of an hour) per child will apply if a child remains in our care past their scheduled timeframe. This late fee is due and payable upon pickup or prior to the next day's care. Should a child remain in care 30 minutes past their scheduled time and we cannot reach his/her parent then we will call the child's emergency contacts. Voluntary Withdrawal: One full month's notice should be given prior to withdrawing your child from care. If proper notice is given then your deposit will be deducted from your child's last month of tuition. If one month's notice is not given then parents agree to forfeit their deposit and any monies already paid towards the current month's tuition. Absolutely no exceptions will be made for this policy. Involuntary Termination of Care: Dani's Daycare reserves the right to suspend or terminate care of any child without notice, should it be deemed necessary for the overall safety and well-being of the other children in my care and/or my family. Damages: We understand that accidents do happen however should your child purposely damage or break equipment or toys, then the item will be repaired or replaced at the cost of the child's parents. That being said, Dani's Daycare will repair or replace broken daycare toys and equipment due to normal wear and tear. Personal Items, Toys, Etc.: Dani's Daycare will provide a vast array of toys for your child to play with. With that in mind, please do not bring any toys from home. This can cause jealousy and fighting among the children. A special pillow, blanket, or stuffed animal may be brought for nap times. These items will be kept in cubbies or diaper bags until nap time. Potty Training: We will work in conjunction with parents during potty training. If you have a method that has been working for you, please let us know and we will adopt it for your child. We will work with you - but not for you. Should you discontinue potty training at home, please let us know. If a child shows no interest in potty training, we may choose to discontinue and try again at a later date. As a general rule we do not offer treats for going potty. Child Protective Services: Please be aware that Dani's Daycare is morally and legally required to report potentially abusive actions to California's Child Protective Services. For more information on what constitute child abuse please visit San Diego's Child Protective Services webpage.
