As you can see, there may be a cool download section on my page...actually it will probably be two or three songs at the most.  Anyway the point is, I think that Napster, Kazaa, and all those kinds of places are sweet.  Sure people complain, but it's because they are fucking stupid and as soon as they see their bottom line go down, they shit their pants and cry like whiney bitches.  "Oh woe is us," they'll say, "broke college kids are stealing the money that we stole from the artists and consumers, who expected something good and got one good single, and a bunch of bland ass horse shit that has no edge or creativity at all."  If they would take a step back from a slightly damaged bottom line, and look at what File Sharing is, they would realize that it's a great marketing oppurtuninty to capitalize on.  With a huge system like Napster or Kazaa you could expose your music to the world with no effort at all.  Apple's  i-pod is a step in the right direction, but the idea can be tweaked for more gains.  The real point of this rant though,  is to say that Metallica is gay, and anyone who is still buying their records is a retard, because Metallica basically spit in their fans faces with every album starting with load.  That album sucked ass.  It's like they weren't even trying, and they were rammed down your throat though marketing.  They were everywhere you looked, with their short hair, sophisticated facial hair, and disappointingly loose leather pants.  That MTV icon was such a fucking joke.  Oh I was an alchohoic, and I overcame it.  Feel bad for me.  I don't feel bad for you James.  I only feel bad for alcohlics that aren't super rich, because rich people who are drunks shouldn't  be such dirty gluttons.  When you have money, you have a great gift.  You have the most important ingredient for spurring a change.  With money you gain power, influence, and resources.  But if you have money and you choose not to use these gifts, you should be  kicked in the nads 50 times every time you try to complain about something, and I mean anything.  I don't care if your wife has breast cancer.  No complaining, because in you bank account, in your house made entirely out of marble, and in your 50 Bentleys rollin' on dubs is a lot of fucking money.  That money can be used to accelerate research for a disease, and it can be used to get your wife the best care possible, vastly increasing her ability to stay alive, or if nothing else ensuring that she will be comfortable  in her finally days.  That is a nice thing to have, and many people are without such benefits.  5% of the population controls 95% of the weatlh in this country.  What keeps that other 95% of people from kicking the shit out of those rich ass, sweater wearing, yacht owning fucks.  Just a blindfold.  That's all.  A blindfold tied in one knot by the media, one knot by our schools, and another one by our government. Do you really think that our education system is bad and we don't know what to do?  The educational system is bad because stupid people are easy to control, and everything done in school is geared towards making you the best damn Jonny Apple Seed American you can be.  Thats why you don't hear so much about America's genocide of  the Native Americans, or anything about Vietnam.  By exposing these things to young students, you could make the US look fallible, and if the youth doesn't believe in their country they'll try to hop off of their spot on the conveyer belt.  Do you really think there were any weapons of mass destrucition in Iraq?  Do you really think that Iraq, Afghanistan, North Korea created an axis of evil?  If it was, why the fuck did we go after Iraq?  North Korea is clearly the most powerful, and Afghanistan hasn't been very nice to us lately...although that whole 9/11 thing was a little weird.  How is it that Al Queda could  plan and coordinate an attack like the one that took place, but they couldn't even effectivley spread anthrax; a very lethal, easily spread drug.  All they had to do was leave an open container in a busy place. In conclusion, everyone is stupid, including myself because I won't get of this sinking ship.  Thanks for reading this if anyone actually does.  Sorry it's so long.
Old Rants
This is a page of all my old rants.  I figured that since I just put them up at random, it would only be fair to archive them.  If anyone wanted to cite me in a paper that would be cool, I'll put the dates on them for you...and a little title it';; be sweet.  Anyway here you go.  Prepare to be amazed.

I love the Cubs.  Originally, I was going to write this article before they were eliminated from the playoffs, but it doesn't matter.  I still love them just as much.  The whole team worked together to put together the best season that I can remember.  I think that if you asked most Chicagoans what they thought the Cubs would do at the begining of the season, they would have looked at you and said, "They're gonna suck."  But they would have been wrong.  They came out and showed teams they were going to be in it, and each player contributed in one way or another.
The Cubs have the best starters in all of baseball.  Wood, Prior, and Zambrano were unbelievable during the regular season.  When Clement was on, he was unhittable.  Estes came in and pitched a key game for us against the Reds late in the season that we had to win.  The bullpen is the only place that could us a little work.  Remlinger and Farnsy are golden.  As for the rest, they all did their part during the regular season to help us a long, evfen though they may have faltered in the playoffs.  Then there's Joe Borowski.  This guy went from pitching in the Mexican leagues to take the roll of our closer, and dominated.  When you heard names like Gange or Smoltz, during the season, you should have heard the name Borowski right along with them.
Picking up Damien Miller and Paul Bako was huge.  In my opinion it was the best move of the off season. The catching position was so weak last season.  Todd Hundley was the biggest waste of money ever, but no one could have guessed that he was going to suck that bad.  Girardi wasn't bad behind the plate, but where's the offense?  I know what your saying, Miller and Bako didn't hit that well either.  The difference was that you knew they could hit, even if they only hit a little over .200.  Plus they can throw people out.  Just ask Juan Pierre.
At first base there is a little dilemma.  You only need two of them.  Who do you let go?  I think you almost have to keep Simon.  He can hit, he can field, and he's in his prime.  Choi or Karros?  I'd hate to see either of them go.  They each have their pros and cons.  Hee Sop played well until he bumped his head, but how will he do in his sophmore season.  With Karros you know that you're getting a decent fielder and a strong hitter, but he's not getting any younger.  EIther way they're all good options, and they'll play hard for us.
I don't need to talk about middle infield, because they're awesome.  No pair in baseball can turn two better than Grudzy and Gonzo.  Their defense is amazing.  Gonzo needs to chillax at the plate and keep his shoulders closed.  He did that in the playoffs and hit really well.  Grudzy hit over .300 in the regular season, so that's all I need to say about him.
Aramus Ramierez is the kind of 3rd baseman that would make Ron Santo shed a tear.  He came over and was a little shakey defensively, but he worked out the kinks.  I'm not saying he's there, but he's still young.  His bat was a great addition to the line up.  He's going to be a great one.
I don't have a whole lot to say about our outfield.  Alou is a passionate player; the kind who has competition in their blood.  He's good all the way around.  I personally like Sammy Sosa.  I know that some people don't think he's that great, but look at the statsMultiple consecutive seasons with 40+ hr, 100+ RBI's and an avg. that's been around .300 every year.  He's not the best clutch hitter, but he gets the job done, and I wouldn't want anyone else in right field.
There's another problem with center field.  What do you do with Lofton.  I think we all know that Lofton made the difference for this team.  I hope we can keep
him around as a bench player.  I think that Cory Patterson is definitely the future for the Cubs.
I would also like to thank Martinez, Cruz, Goodwin, Glanville, Ojeda, Womack, Wellmeyer, and anyone else I may have forgotten.  Sorry.  The most important person in all of this though is Dusty Baker.  In Dusty we Trusty.  That's all I have to say.
