Building An Artificial Island In The Middle Of The Dead Sea
An environmental and technological wonder.
I WILL BE IN ISRAEL FOR SOME TIME BEGINNING IN MARCH '02. I WILL TRY MY BEST TO REPLY TO EMAILS AS QUICKLY AS POSSIBLE.
For many years I have dreamed of living on a tropical island tailored to my exact specifications.  Palm trees, hammocks, fruit cocktails.  The good life.  I have decided to make that dream real.

My goal is this:

To cheaply build a stationary or floating structure suited for oceans or inland seas capable of sustaining all the needs of a small group of people, including basic food production of fruits and vegetables, the raising of cattle, fowl and fish, electricity, fresh water, communications, waste management,  adequate shelter and security.

Because of my love of nature and all things natural, the island will incorporate many environmentally friendly components, such as: Greenhouses- To conserve water,
Solar panels- To produce Electricity,
Organic Gardens- Free of chemicals.

My current plan is to build a stationary island in the Dead Sea, which is in Israel.  It is the lowest point on earth above water.  It is also the saltiest water, famous for it's ability to allow people to float easily.

I don't plan on doing this alone, but as of now, there are no other participants.  That is why I have created this website.  Though it is clearly not the most fancy of pages, I hope it will attract people to my project and encourage them to participate.  My email is [email protected] can email me anytime with questions, ideas, or comments.

Also, let it be known that I am 18 years old, and that my future plans are, as in the case of all 18 year olds, subject to change.
