Our actual Projects

Medical attention project: It consists in medical attention at two rural areas 40 km. a way from Milange, Nambuzi and Magoloma. We give the patient the medication and when they need special attention we take them to Milange. Periodically we carry a vaccination team to cover these areas. We attend around 70 people in each visit every week.  We also attend at the Milange District Hospital.. (Photos of this work)(Medical Project, detailed in portuguese)(One of the medical reports in Magoloma) (One of the medical reports of Nambuzi) (Map of SIDA in Africa) (Aprobation of the gobernment).

Clinic Building project: It consists in building small clinics with a house for a nurse and a well so that the government will put a full time nurse there and have medication there. We finished the clinic in Nambuzi and is necessary to build a house and a well. We think that we will continue with these projects in other places because this district is the poorest in hospital structures. South African churches are helping with trained people to lead the work. (Photos of the building)  (Description of the building project)

Nutrition program: It consists in giving milk to help recover children with malnutrition or orphans who lost their mothers at birth. We work in coordination with the government hospital. After one week at the hospital the children continue the treatment with us at home and we support them with milk for 3 months. In the last report we had 42 children on our list. The worker who manages this distribution is: Luisa Eduardo. (Nutrition Program)(One of the Nutrition project reports)

Bible teaching at the Itopia church: It is a church which had polygamy, with spirits and syncretism in its past. They would like to return to the Bible and asked us to find a missionary to work with them. Presently, we are teaching them Bible, weekly, in the central church. There are 24 congregations without one trained leader . We sent 3 leaders to a biblical school for 6 months. We are using the material from "New Tribes" and "Walk through the Bible". We leave with you this request from these churches, a missionary to teach them doctrine and to train their leaders. If there is somebody interested in sending someone, please contact us. . (Information about the Itopia Church)

Bible teaching at Milange: Weekly we meet young people from different churches who are at the secondary school and we are having a nice feedback. We know God is changing their lives.. (Photo of the group)

Mullets Project for disabled people: We want to finance the local making of mullets to give to disabled people (this is due to poliomyelitis and other sicknesses left in war mines). This would be in coordination with a the Social Action Ministry in the district.

Jesus Film Project: it's a group of Christians (4) who take a projector, a generator, film screen and tent. They go to places where the film has never been shown with the object of starting or helping new churches. It's an interdenominational job. They ride up to 100 km. on their bikes to get to very needy places and God is greatly blessing this work. (One of the reports of this work) Their leader, Rodríguez Domingo, received a special bible training at a Bible School. The projector is presently being repaired in South Africa.  (Photo building the building the sreenPhoto of the Jesus Film group)

Musical project: This project consists in helping local musicians to write music in their local tongues (takuani, marenge, chichewa, lombwe and Portuguese) with biblical messages to teach and evangelize. Music there is very important as it transmits values. On the local radio it is forbidden to evangelize or talk about politics, but they allow us to put Christian music on. We want to take advantage of this. I'm getting together software and hardware to put together a small taping studio to work with Christian composers that I already know there. Biblical materials: Bibles and materials to teach the Bible are very expensive for pastors and local leaders, this is why we want to help finance the buying of these materials.
