Z Boulder Traverse

on

Z boulder

The Z Boulder was so named for a grafitti "Z" that used to be on the north side of the boulder. The boulder is located behind and to the right of the drinking fountain, up a short set of stairs. It stands above two low boulders. (See Map 1.) .) The problem starts standing on the slab on the left (west) side of the boulder and moves right. The crux is passing under the overhang and over the low boulder to reach larger holds on the right (as shown in the video). Care must be taken not to fall into the hole between the low boulders near the start, and not to sit on the right one in the crux. Reverse the problem, right to left, for a nice little pump.
