To the right of Transportation, the large diagonal crack in
The Pit (See Map 1.), and left of the corner
are a number of mantle problems. The most classic is quite easy.
Start standing on the good ledge just left of the corner. Ascend
using all holds until your right hand is on the good ledge in
the middle of the face about 9 feet up. Put your left hand on
a good hold slightly left. Turn your right hand fingers in, walk
your feet up, and mantle onto a straight right elbow (as shown
in the video). If you have a good reach, you should be able to
get a good hold on the edge of Transportation. Otherwise other,
smaller holds on the face will allow you to stand. The problem
also goes one-handed.
